Forgot to Crop

Sorry JRV, I forgot to crop them. I'll make a donation. Not Georges fault.
He was just kidding you :) Great pics. I love seeing restoration in progress pics :)
Great shots you have got some clear views of areas that I can't fit my head in to see. Can you see down the in the timing chain area to tell if you have the up dated chain tensioners. I don't know if mine are and I was hoping to see with tha valve covers off. Also did you get a shot of the flywheel side I have never seen that view either.
A Few More

Hope This Helps. As you can see it needed work. These are not upgraded. I will upgrade them.
those are the hydraulic tensioners.

and yes I was pullin your leg!!! :)
I didn't know they were right there, those are the original old style tensioners right? Does it look like they can be changed by removing just that inspection cover?
What all are you doing to it and have you found anything wronge so far?

The two upper Tensioners can be replaced thru the access holes with the engine in the car. The lower tensioner cannot however. The good news is the lower tensioner is not that prone to failure.

DAMN DOUG...HAPPY BDAY.... :D
Repairs

Actually, I have to discuss the detail repairs on Monday. And, on Tuesday I plan to rob a big big bank.

I know that the tensioners will be upgraded, the heads sent out to be re-done, new clutch, new exhaust. I'll keep everyone posted on the details.
Is that exhaust a borla in the background if so I have the same system. Mine is crap, the bends are miter cut to fit to the mufflers because they fit tubes with to large of a radius bends. I plan to make my own in the future. Mine also had four oval megs megaphone style tip on it that looked like they came from a sand rail, tossed them as soon as I got the car home.
Thanks JRV, I type so slow it will probably be over before I get this posted. :D I came across this site that appears to make the tensioners solid but adjustable JRV does this look like a good idea to you?http://www.exoticars-usa.com/specialties.html#Lamborghini Diablo piston upgrade
(Lamborghini Diablo - timing chain tensioner) I hope it's still the 3rd.
