My recommendation is to make sure the surroundings reflect light, whether it’s a sunny day or having the backdrop contrast with the color of the car. That’s why profession photographers take pictures in a white room. Try to capture that environment outside (colored buildings, white sandy beaches, green tropical backdrops with blues skies, etc). Also consider buying some post flood lights to enhance reflections of the car. You can take it as far as your want. Just takes effort.

I figured it out! Check out the shade and hue. How the Viola Bast just jumps off the screen. Distance and angle are all very important. I hope to be taking more soon.

Wow! I haven’t seen a full service station in many decades. How much per gallon? More importantly, does she also wash and squeegee the windshield?

Good advice. It doesn’t have to be a crazy long lens. The other thing that helps with a long lens for some angles is getting as low to the ground as possible. I took these two from on the ground with a 75mm lens at f/2.
