I'm looking to order a 2021/22 Huracan EVO RWD Spyder but I have some questions about the build as my dealer in Scottsdale doesn't seem too knowledgable.

Style Package High Gloss Black $2000 - I'm thinking about going with the Rear Bumper in high gloss black with the body color diffuser over the style pack in high gloss black to avoid the front lip and side skirts in black paint as even with clear film, these low hanging parts get really beat up. How are peoples high gloss black front lips holding up and also the base "plastic" look, can you cover this in matte XPEL?

Any feedback from the Lamborghini experts on this build? I'm coming from the Porsche world and know how to build a car well on their site but the Lambo site seems pretty clunky.

Like many of the members here, I'm not going with the Small Carbon Pack because I don't like the mismatch Carbon look and will buy the same components through the vendors on this site.

Tuning: I also plan to do the M Engineering tune to bring it up to the Performante HP/TQ specs : )

Thank you all for the help and if you have any recommended sales associates from a dealer in the US, please DM me their info. I'm shooting for a 6% discount as I was offered 4% up front from local dealer but I know a high volume dealer can do better : )

Thanks everyone for their feedback, I'm going to Lamborghini Broward tomorrow to meet with the owner. I'd like 6% off as a minimum but I'm working with another member to negotiate both of our cars at 8% off if we place the orders at the same time... wish us luck!

I want a Performante Spyder but most examples are going out of warranty and I can't find many ideal specs that are reasonably priced. The EVO RWD Spyder will be more than good enough though!

I even just spent $500 putting this on windshield Windshield Protection Film | ExoShield. Most of my drives are group drives with similar cars so a lot of fat sticky tires shooting up rocks and nothing worse than chips on windshield
My car right now has Clearplex on the windshield and in Phoenix will all the stones on the road, it’s worth every dime

My fiancé wants to do Expel Stealth on all the green surfaces and the gloss black Xpel Ultimate, it might be a pretty cool look! Thanks all for your input on the spec!

Does anyone here have dealerships that are looking to sell for 6% off MSRP? Another two members and I are looking to lock our orders this week and have some competing offers.

I know.....told the dealership I wanted to trade in my 2RS they asked the miles I told them and they said "why so many miles?"..........I replied oh, I thought Porches were a "drivers" car and then they back pedaled and said it's good I drove it. My point is they gave me a price over the telephone I dropped it off and they barely looked at it and wrote the check.......
All that being said, I keep my cars immaculate, I break them in according to the manual, I never launch (mostly because it seems idiotic plus unnecessarily hard on the engine), keep the car on a battery tender and warm it up before a drive.........but but but, make no mistake, I do drive them. As that light begins to fade from my eyes I know one of my last thoughts will not be I should have put less than a 1000 miles a year on my sports cars. I am not nor will I ever be a caretaker...............
I sold my GT4 late last year to free up some garage space, people asked me has it been tracked... I'm like YUP and videos are on YouTube go look, why so many miles... I told them, Not driving my GT4 and saving for the next owner is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so the next guy can enjoy her.

My friend I like the way you think............Funny, about the garage space but same issue for me. We met with a realtor a couple of days ago and viewed this property that stated they had a 9 car garage we went and looked an it was a no go. Firstly, it could not hold 9 cars and it was awkwardly laid out so you would have to take cars out to park in some of the spaces (see picture). The realtor is trying to line up a builder to build a home with a 4.5 car garage then build another 2 car garage on top of that.
My new build will have plenty of parking space, I'll post pics when all the custom cabinets, epoxy floor, TV's, lighting, Obsessed Garage foam cannon setup are installed

I would love to see how you set up the garage. In fact, when we start the construction I would like to start a thread on must haves. I would love a canopy off one of the garage like Matt has in OG.......and that Kranzle swivel hose set up is so cool. It's a drag setting up the portable Kranzle.
I love it. I went with 12x of Obsessed Garages overhead lights then the full custom Kranzel setup. The full back wall will be custom cabinets and that painters tapped off area is for an 85” TV. Also doing 6x Klipsch Pro 8.5” in ceiling speakers with two subs. I’m also doing my entire house on Savant automation

Sounds fantastic. Given you are further alone with the construction it would be helpful to forum members if you take us through your garage set up step by step...............I will definitely do the ceiling speakers, HVAC, cabinets.........and I will need to find someone to install the "permanent" Kranzle with the overhead hose setup.
Plus, as I said, l love Matt's canopy setup.
For sure, I’ll do a write up for Rennlist and copy it over here. The house has been so much work specing it all out but so worth it

Funny to see that several rennlister that track their GT porsches are also over here on the Lambo forum
I recently sold my Porsche GT4, only have the C8 since I'm building and have limited garage space along with my Macan GTS. I'll be keeping the C8 until the Z06 drops, then that'll be my track rat. The Huracan is more for my fiancé and our street fun car. I thought about buying a Huracan Perf Coupe for track use but at $300k, the running costs are expensive and I'd rather track a C8 Z06 or GT3 manual which might be a bit more fun, lower cost and lower risk.

Looks great! When building a new home there are many details to stay on top. If you don't watch them closely watch out.
I'm an engineer by trade, I have a comprehensive document for to-do's for my builder, dates, check points etc. If I'm not cracking the whip and following up with the bi-weekly syncs, too many items would be missed... costing me time and money

I’m a contractor and we have progress and completion dates in our contracts with daily liquidated damages for every day beyond completion. That is a VERY motivating factor to complete our work on or before schedule. In 35 years I’ve never had to pay any LDs.
I love that approach. I'm working with a small custom home builder and right now its the contractors that are the pain point, they're extremely busy and things such as the custom cabinets were 4 weeks delayed... which delays the countertops etc.

I am not an engineer but I am extremely detailed oriented and I stay on top of the home build. Some of the things I have seen contractors do can be quite disconcerting........I also make endless lists, read/research extensively as the project is ongoing. Make no mistake, I have no problem being assertive as needed.
I agree. My builder probably thinks I'm a micromanager but at the end of the day, I'm pushing the project along and have found many faults then drove mitigations. I'm not building the house to make friends, its business

^ Looks good. I'd probably do a similar build except I want an Ad Personal color if going through the trouble/wait of ordering. Personally I'll probably go for base wheels and stereo. That will give me something to tinker with in terms of aftermarket mods.
We have a small group working with a few dealers on the pricing. Many of the high volume dealers have allocations booked for months and thus no discount but many low volume dealers can't fill their allocations, they're offering discounts

@kotykb, you can option the headliner and A pillars in leather ($1,400) in lieu of Alcantara. I personally am not a big fan of Alcantara at all.
My Porsche GT4 had Alcantara on the A pillar and Headliner and I thought it looked pretty nice, also with a Spyder, the only surfaces you really notice are the A pillars. I did decide against Alcantara steering wheel and seats due to it being a Spyder and driving it in Arizona, if I get sweaty driving the car the Alcantara isn't the easiest material to properly clean. With leather I use CarPro ceramic leather coating and it cleans with ease

I have the Alcantara A-pillars and headliner in addition to the Alcantara Sportivo trim on my RWD coupe. Definitely ties the interior together.

Good point regarding the steering wheal. I had Alcantara steering wheels in my last 2 cars AMG and GT3 and liked them for the feel and relative "cool" temperature to touch.

However, I find myself in "white knuckle" situations with the H when going on drives with my club and it's definitely easier to clean the leather wheel afterwards even though my A/C vents are aimed directly at my hands.
I've been going back and forth with the two different interiors. Considering the Verde Mantis exterior, likely the darker interior is a bit more subtle and will age better. Thoughts?

I agree, the dark interior. Way too much green otherwise. I went through the same thing, and glad I went with black interior.
Your build is beautiful, its helped me with the decision making process : ) The only reason I've been going back and forth is after seeing this video, the Black/Green interior looks pretty good
