Obituary of my best violin teacher

My violin sensei (teacher) passed away two nights ago. Just wanted to say that life is so precious and short. Feel very sad but that's what life is. He was my best teachers. I have considered him my mentor in music and one of my friends.

I remember the day when we both went to a Ferrari dealer and tried out the 820 Superfast. The car was fast, but super heavy on the front. I also remember the day he wowed me with his violin playing during my private lessons. My mouth literally dropped. I still tried my best to emulate him when I play my violin. I still have the recorded videos.

Love your loved ones, friends, and families. And take it easy on those alcohol drinks because those really kills. Before you drink it by the bottle to get a temporary buzz, first look around for the people that care for you.

Going to the funeral next week. His wife is quite a famous ballet teacher (what a couple: a violin and a ballerina).

My heart sank so deep.

That's all.

Sorry to hear Norman. My daughter has an amazing violin teacher who is 1st chair in the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. Student and teacher relationship is priceless no doubt.

Come to Hawaii and give my daughter lessons although we are we will come visit you in March going snowboarding in Nagano/Hakuba. Crazy snow falling.

Thanks guys for the sympathies! The funeral is done.

The funeral was really sad because it was done in Shinto religion. Contrary to the Buddhist chants which are harder to understand, Shinto is straight forward Japanese and easier to understand. And hearing those chants from the priest and reading those obituary letters out loud were just too  RIP.
