I went to Pirelli shop and they offer Nitrogen Gas to fill my new tires with, this was 6 months a go.
Last week I used my car on the track and it was like 90-95 F. I did like 5 hot laps and the tires were very coooool every time I stopped. I guess the Nitro realy worked :)
Here is what Pirelli say about it (Unique Benefits) :

1- Cooler running tyres.
2- Inflation Pressure of tyres is three times more stable than ordinary air.
3- Reduces premature failures.
4- Better grip on the road.
5- Saves fuel cost by 10%
6- Used on Formula 1 & Aircraft tyres.
7- High tolerance for long distances.
8- Keeps the braking system cool for optimum performance.
9- Environmentally friendly.
10 Inert gas does not containdust, oil or moisture.

I hope this Info. will help :D

What about using Helium.
It might help reduce the unsprung weight of the wheels and tires.
Why spend money on Ti or Mg wheels then?

That is what most race cars use for on their tires. It does indeed translate to much stabler tire pressures versus regular air...

Guys, you are aware that regular air consist of 72% Nitrogen

The influence goes to Zero I tested this about 10 years ago, the placebo effect is one of the highest :p

The main reason they use nitrogen is because it contains little or no moisture. When you use air from an air compressor it contains moisture. The moisture then acts as a conductor as it absorbs heat from the tire and breaking system the air tries to expand, since it cannot expand (because it is inside of a tire) something must happen, that something is the pressure changes (it goes up). Sincerely Vic
