Calling the murcielago an "Audighini" is hilarious. They hardly had a hand in that car. The engine is as Lamborghini as it gets.

I have driven every model the factory has ever released with but 4 exceptions…Have you?
It is not even an Italian designed body… are you aware of that fact?
Enjoy the bulbous pregnant 928 rear end and awkward
teutonic profile…. the diablo is an order of magnitude more beautiful… and, dear reader, I never said Audi was all bad, in fact very good in many arenas mechanically. I merely pointed out the atrocious teutonic styling….

And the square lined butt ugly gallardo?
If you are esthetically defending it then you cannot be part of an adult conversation.

Italiano

Not teutonic

Porsche still cannot make even one beautiful machine.
Ghastly…

Pimping special editions makes more of the affordable 12s we love… I do not begrudge the factory maximum profit where it lies.

Go drive a pre-lp murcielago and then drive a modern huracan and tell me which one is an audi.

My pre-lp gallardo is the most uncomfortable car on the planet. Its very, very obvious how much Audi did between the pre-lp and the LP.

either way, I think we all know these special editions are just cash grabs.

Isn’t it about now when someone says “it’s just a car”?

not on my phone browses professor
Another major undeniable critique. Even mundane
american cars are putting out over 800 hp. The new car oress releases keep going up in 10 hp increments and it is laughable.
We should have a 1000 ho minimum normally aspirated V1/ or lightweight hybrid combo. Lamborghini is counterfeit in the absence of superior output and performance.
So push it up in the Bugatti neighborhood…

While I do get Human’s viewpoint… (sorry for the typo)

Bugatti is using a quad turbocharged engine to get those HP, and the heart of the Aventador (and the flagship predecessors for Lamborghini) is a long heritage of NA V12. Tradition still means something.

This isn’t a purely HP race. The previous iteration of this car did hold the Nurburgring record, and the Mercedes that beat it has only 720 hp.

I’m not an engineer, but increases by 10, probably mean they’ve pushed the limit of this V12 platform sans turbo/supercharging. It wouldn’t make sense to invest a ton of money into major overhaul when it’s the end of the line for this line. (Pun intended).

There isn’t a car anywhere near this price range that I would prefer to have over the Avendador, and the Countach tribute is still an Aventador, though a rare and special one, that will be worth an enormous amount of money, given the number of vehicles produced.

You probably aren’t a huge fan of their hamburgers, but it’s hard to argue with the success of McDonalds business model.

just for you Russ, Isn’t it just a car anyway?

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. There is no substantive disagreement as I’m an Aventador and Diablo owner.
I would not have bought it if it were not normally aspirated. That is the soul of the bestia.
i am sycophantic with those facts. Astute readers such as yourself get the point of tweaking a bit in this forum is precisely to stimulate excellent comments such as yours. And the tongue in cheekophiles amongst us will appreciate that I am not Chinese…
that is Human. 😎😇😄
I always like more brutality in my car from the factory.
High thougts…
The replacement for Aventador hopefully will be normally aspirated with a lighter weight hybrid booster
and a bit of a diet for this fat girl. Bring back Marcello lol…

Ahem...

Guys, it's just a beautiful people mover capable of 200mph+ speeds with probably a laughable Sensonum sound system in front and glorious V12 sound system in the mid-rear. You already have one at home. You also have a Countach at home, depending on who's reading this. So can't we all just get along? :(

Ah, so my assumption that you were not a presumptuous idiot was correct.

Many things do not feel as good as assuming, then being found correct. It's kind of an intellectual gambit, with different stakes than monetary gambling.
