If the replacement of the Aventador is anything but a V12 (hybrid or unassisted) then the Aventador will be the end of a magnificent era. In any case I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Lamborghini (and I still want them to produce the Estoque and Asterion!).
New limited edition Lamborghini coming out, it'll be a modern version of the Countach
I heard from my dealer that Lambo will be showing a limited edition (around a 100) car which will be a modern version of the Countach. It'll be based on the Aventador but look like a modern Countach. The car is to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Countach. Price will be similar to the Sian, not sure when they'll be showing the car. My guess is Quail which is still on but we shall see.

Perhaps the car/teaser was only showed to VIPs and we don’t get to see it just yet.. maybe a leak here and there.
Angular as “before”, before as in not as angular as the Aventador or was their another concept/design that was changed?Someone who saw the car told me it was in white with white leather.
He also said the car is not as "angular" as before.

I’m surprised how these things don’t leak more often frankly, I enjoy the anticipation/build up. Hopefully it will live up to the Countach name.Strange, Lamborghini still hasn't posted the latest "Countach Legacy" video (Normally scheduled for yesterday).

“ ~ BONUS POST ~ The first teaser images of the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 have been leaked!
Lamborghini announced a while ago that they were working on a celebrating model of the legendary Countach in occasion of the 50th birthday of the model. Now we can see the first official teaser, which shows a very interesting detail: the engine air vent positioned right behind the door, and also the fuel cap.
Also, the logo of the car has been captured as well and it shows another exclusive thing: we can read "LPI" which, if you remember what we learned on the Asterión some years ago, it should mean "Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido". In other words, the car will have an hybrid propulsion system and it will develop a total of 800 PS, that will be delivered through the 4 wheels.
The new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 will be unveiled on the 15th August during the Monterey Car Week, so we have to wait a little more for additional details and pictures to finally know the car in all its glory.
