New Huracan Owner - Trying not to go viral

Hi all - I pick up my 2015 Huracan next Wednesday - I still need to learn how to pronounce it!

And the biggest challenge over the next month is to not be the dick who goes viral on YT by writing off his new Lambo!

Does your insurance cover 100% of the damage and replace your car with a brand new one if you crash it (in case of economically unrepairable wreck)?
How much is a year insurance for this badboy by the way ?
Superb car. 90% of really beautiful, classy lines.*.

Which I find too low and protruding and unnecessarily complex (and ugly).

Exactly. So many people comment on the cost of insurance, tax, servicing, "wait 'til you have to replace the carbon ceramic brakes and tires" - without actually doing a.y research into how much this stuff really costs.

Yes, running one of these exocticas is expensive in comparison to a family runaround, but nowhere near what the doom mongers would have you believe. They're killjoys who don't do their homework.

When someone asks me questions like that I usually say that the type of people who own these cars don’t worry about things like that too much 😆

Yeah. Those who buy a Lambo probably can afford it and its running costs. I must say, I have no idea how much it costs to maintain, on average.
But my project of electrifying a Lambo will reduce running costs (but make the initial cost higher, due to conversion).
It's actually part of the prestige and exclusivity of the brand. It's also a sign of affluence. "I can afford to buy and maintain a Lambo."
Do you think that owning a Lambo helps develop a mentality of abundance ?
