I just had to share my joy, I received the call I've been waiting years for. One of the 12 Downdraft QV in the US, and the color I wanted, White/White.
After the car was checked out they sent me a few pics, but I'll just put this one up for now and when the truck arrives next week I'll get some great shots of it next to the Silhouette! :)

Tony: Congrats on the new ride! Post the pics as soon as you can. BTW, I have been waiting for MY call (not quite 12 years) for an Anniversary Countach in show condition. Would appreciate any leads you may have on one of those. Prefer Red. I am in Daytona Beach. Thanks.

Thanks! Only been looking a few years, since I sold my first Countach. I have a friend who has a Red/Black 89' Anniv. car with a euro front bumper and less than 800 KLM.
PM me with what your looking to pay and I'll present it to him. The car is in NJ and I grew up with the guy. It may not be for sale, but you never know. He has owned it since new, and paid $190K for it so he has just held on to it instead of taking a big loss.

I was the 3rd owner of this awesome Pearl White Countach, I had the car for 2 years and still regret selling it. Here's some pics that I still have of the car. BTW, I still have the plate, it's on my 99 SV, plus pictures of a cake my wife had made for my birthday! Enjoy! Michael
Thanks so much Michael, Glad to know it's been with great Lambo owners and has a good history. The photo's are great, I did not want to post them as they were yours. Rest assured she will be safe with me and if I ever part with her I will make sure she goes to a good home.

Tony -

Many congratulations on the car - welcome to the downdraft club!! It is truly a special machine. I hope I get to see it sometime when I pass thorugh FL.... I never got to see it when Micheal had it.

I have had my downdraft for about 5 years and could never part with it. The harder you drive it the better and better it gets.

Ciao!

I take it that means you don't want to source one in the UK then...

Any chance of buying your ashtray liner?
Thanks Jim, let me see the condition of the ashtray on my Countach when it gets here and if it's fine, I'll sell it to you.
