So on "Top Gear" last night they raced a Murcielago against a Mitsubishi Evo-8 and the Murcie could not shake the Mitsu from its tail at all until the driver (a touring car racing driver) eventually spun the Murcie and the Mitsu (with Jeremy Clarkson at the wheel) sped past.
On the other side of the coin though, they compared the same Mitsu against a normal 1.3 litre family car and while out of turbo boost range, the Mitsu was slower on acceleration. The Mitsu has a 2 litre engine boosted to 400 horsepower.
Did anyone else see this and have any comments?
