Well sorry to say I was dissapointed, the color is very underwelming on this car, and although I liked the simplicity of the interior, it was very bland, just charcoal, not two toned, no piping, no stiching. Had to force myself to take pictures, pretty bad for a $320,000. car.

Pretty good lead and follow track day though, one Countach, and a Diablo SE, sundry other cars. Diablo driver said he just left it in 2nd gear the whole time, 90MPH max. Heck I did better on my way home...170MPH on I-35 :)

Won second place in the concourse, first place a 96 Roadster. If he'd had the roof on I'd have taken first, but have to admit it looked great.

Met this guy practically in my back yard that has a twin turbo Diablo...He didn't drive it, but was telling me he passed a cop going 200MPH in the opposite direction, said by the time he slowed down and pulled over it took about 15 minutes for the cop to turn around and come back for him. :rolling:

Raymondo,

You did not like the $$$$ (sorry I could not remember the exact figure, somewhere between $5-10K) bracing option? I thought it looked cool.

How about pictures of your car and other Lambos in attendance?

I Love that car :) ...And I think they NEED that bracing on the engine or somethig for extra support because its a roadster (Something like that I saw on Rides)

I thought the bracing covered up too much of the engine, which is something you want to see alot of. I'd rather have the glass engine cover.

Sorry no other pictures, it was hard to get clean shots of anything. The cars were so close and covered with people all day.

I think black exterior looks really good on the roadster, but black on black (with even black stiching) is too much. I saw a black roadster with tan interior and that car looked really awesome. Also the silver car at the lamborghini roadster introduction in detroit looks great on the pics

I'm a HUGE Fan of the Murci Roadster..But Black doesn't do it justice.
Don't get me wrong it looks great ! But Black doesn't accentuate the lines like an Orange,Yellow or Monterey Blue would.

Ever go out to a club and wonder why all the Fat chicks wear Black ?? It doesn't show there Curves

Jeff,I agree with you 100%.Black hides the beautiful lines that the roadster has.You want the lines to be seen and appreciated.Lighter colors show the lines especially yellow. The yellow really shows the lines and the lower profile of the Roadster.

I agree that the interior does look bland and black is not a good color for the Lambos. It hides the shape and lines if the car.
I think the brace is not the best looking but a very light weight alternative for rigidity.

How did a 96 Roadster do so well?

That Roadster was beautiful, had chrome wheels and gold lug nuts. Even I voted for it. I guess yours is like that too though. :)

Re: Murcielago Roadster Roll Out ...

Thanks for the pictures !! I was thinking about it on Saturday, wishing
I could be there!

I'm a NUT on the Murcy Roadster! I'm going to have to get one!
Agree with you on interior. I'd add some color as well.

I liked the combination on the 2004 Geneva Show car. And the "Rides" show
color combo was nice.

Did someone say a Silver Detroit Intro Murcy Roadster? The original prototype
there was yellow with a blandish greyish (black?) interior.

How about the Concorso Italiano gold (copper?) with two-tone green and
black (grey?) interior. The green driver's side looked a little too-wild to me.

I like the engine brace in carbon fiber. Heard that carbon fiber was optional and that the stock one is in steel or something? I wonder what color the
standard brace is? I like the carbon fiber.

I may have to go to So. CA in a few weeks. Hopefully there will be one in the
area then.

Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE all Lambos !! It's nice to be on
this forum! Unfortunately though, I don't have a dealer near me, but
maybe relatively close in May of next year if the dealership in Seattle
that Roy's been talking about opens.

Ray,

SE30 guy here, 90/95 max in second gear, later in the day, after the rain, they let us back on...top speed in 3rd was about 110 (before braking, actual "end of 3rd" is about 125), the track isn't long enough to get us to 170...but, then again, that's not the point of the track event...it was a great event, hope to see you next time!

John

p.s. I agree on the bracing in the Murcie Roadster, it is distracting, a glass cover would be a nice touch
