I have to ask... you dont have that second pic (or all of your pics) in a larger format say 1440x900 pixels or larger do you, Neville? I just have to have it on my desktop, it looks superb against the Aussie outback background.

Yes, you can get super unleaded in the Outback, but you need to plan your fuel stops as you sometimes need to go more than 200km between stops. It's a while since I've been the the Territory, so someone please provide more detail if they can. :)

Problems of driving in the outback

Fuel is fine we call it premium unleaded.

I go a lot farther than 200km on 100 litre tank.

More of a worry is if you get a puncture without a spare Mobile phone works for about 20kms out of town then you are on your own if you strike trouble.

Running over dead Kangaroos tends to make the car smell nasty and weaving in and out of wedgetail eagles at 280km/hr is hardly fun. A eagle through the windscreen could be very nasty and expensive!!

Cattle Grids make real funny noises at 320km/hr as well.

Having made perhaps 25 runs at the 320km/hr mark it never becomes familiar olr easy!! I still scares me every time. I know the car goes a lot faster but try it on a bumpy two lane highway full of birds and roadkill.

You are one brave man to do 320 Km/H on a public highway.
I saw a program about the Gumball rally.
Cars were flying offf the highway and into the bush with deadly consequences (for the cars at least).
A Viper went skywards, a F 360 hit a tractor, a 996 turbo went 180 degrees.

Which state of Aus do you live in. I have lived in Sydney for 10 years during my schoolboy days.

Now that I am back in Hong Kong I have no where to really try out my Diablo.

The last time I went over 200 km/h was on a closed down Airport runway in Hong Kong.

The maximum speed limit in HK is 120 km/h.

Why

If you are going to drive at normal speeds then that is what Hyundai and Kia is for.....

Lambo are too uncomfortable, uncompromising and unfunctional for anything apart from driving your senses wild and getting the next huge adrenilan rush.

As a married man the other great use of the Lambo is a big no no..

Enjoy your cars and if you are in Hong Kong fly to your car and drive where you can have fun. Hong Kong is moped territory!!

ha! have hit roos at 130km/h in my old sigma a couple hundred k's out of broken hill... can't imagine the type of creaming they'd get at 300+.
