MORE NEWS: The Right of First Refusal on The Revuelto is REAL.

Just got an email from my SA at local dealership related to my Revuelto order.
So far I have the $30k deposit in and a signed purchase order for a spec car (not a pre-config).
So the email is a MANDATORY Right of First Refusal Agreement that must be signed to be able to get the new Revuelto.

Someone mentioned this as being a possibility coming from the factory, and I just wanted to confirm that this is real and that if you have an order in, you should be getting this document soon if you have not signed it already.
Or anyone with a pre-config getting a car without having to sign this? Let us know. Or maybe you'll have to sign it when car comes in... Not sure.

As for the details of the agreement, basically you have to sell the car back to the dealer if you plan to part with it in the first 12 months, and dealer gets the lower price of what you paid for it vs. the value determined by the Manheim Market Report for wholesale value of the car ... Dealer has 5 days to decide whether or not to buy it.

First time I have seen something like this but I guess it makes sense and I'm not worried about it personally as I plan to keep the car for a year at least to enjoy it but could keep it longer until the SV version comes out.

The same form had to do if I wanted the urus perf. Right now just have a deposit in. So I still have some time to go
I'm all for it if it keeps values high.
Thankfully no requirement for CDN dealers according to my SA.

yes, I reported it . My dealer had called me from Italy at the dealers meeting right after the global launch and said that lambo was mandating customers sign rofr for the revuelto (including the pre configs ). Important thing is that this is mandated by lambo and not a dealer thing.

According to my SA it's region based. Canada will get an iron clad no export agreement tho.
My dealer made me sign one of those for the H last year so Im not surprised if more dealers started doing it or if it became a corporate policy.

Dealer told me the same thing. I’m skipping coupe but will be getting the roadster.
Just got off the phone with my SA and he said he wanted my spec in ASAP, as if the order will be based off of the online configurator. Anyone else moving forwad with their spec build? I was thinking I would have more options to choose from with the dealer. Even another sales person said they had some kind of spec sheet already that had more options than the website... See this is the stuff I don't like. Sales reps in the same dealership with conflicting info.

I noticed they updated the configurator today. It finally has the carbon interior options. Not sure if there were even more options on the pre-configs?

many people don’t know but they do sign paperwork in just about every new car transaction where it says they won’t export the car . This doesn’t apply to the person who Canadians flip it to and then they export it to USA or elsewhere )

Why are you in a rush to buy an early car? If you're getting an allocation I would wait for a 2nd year allocation. More options and less issues.

Correct but I was told the factory is worried about CDN cars getting exported to the US. Massive profits to be made.

Actually, they’re forcing you to sell it low so I’m not following how that keeps values high.

selling back to dealer, dealer when resell probably will demand inflated market price.

This is how I read it as well so it seems like a bad deal.

Ferrari playbook..dealer lever not factory.
No one forces you to sell. Dealer will co-sign and split profit.

This. Dealer can't make you take wholesale or MSRP, unless you don't want to wait for it to sell on consignment.
