Hey, I am Eric out of NM. I am new to this forum and have a few questions. I am moving forward with purchasing a 2006 Gallardo Spyder, I want it so bad, but part of me is so nervous to pull the trigger. I am sure I am not alone with that feeling, are you glad you did buy it? Anything I should look out for? It has been checked and has 87% left on clutch, new brakes, new tires, fresh oil change, and is getting a new hose ( that controls the lifting mechanism for the front). It has 21K miles, has the LP front bumper on it. Looks amazing! Any thoughts or concerns ? I would be flying out there to get it and driving approximately 600 miles back, any issues with that long of a drive?

thanks for any advice!

Overall these are great and reliable cars.
having full service history from a reputable place is important. Have the car inspected by a specialist as well.

I have a 07 Spyder and really enjoying it . I drove it back 300miles and it was an excellent drive.
Make sure it hasn’t skipped any of scheduled service items regardless of mileage as some parts are age based too

I bought my 2007 Spyder three years ago and have no regrets. In fact I'm very happy I took the step on my first exotic.
Are you sure about the clutch wear? If it's only 13% wear, I guess it has been replaced? Mine had 71% wear at 28000km when purchased and is now well past 100% at 37000km. I will have the clutch replaced in a couple of weeks.

Good luck with purchase!
