Looking for garage tools trolley

406 Views 22 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Sakura
Can you guys recommend me a large tools roller cabinet in black?

I have a couple of supplier here but their trolleys are not very large. I need a large one with around 20 drawers. Also they must be in black color.

I do not want one from Costco though it probably works functionality wise. I want something that pops up in the garage. Feel of high quality steel, not plasticky, with good rolling casters. Must be made in the USA or somewhere else but China.

A link or photos please.
The husky ones would be very nice, but they don't ship Internationally. They don't have a branch and nobody sells them here.

I tried out the snap on configurator and comes out to around $20k - $30k for the epiq setup. Seems quite pricey for just a tool storage. I have contacted their office branch here to see how long for them to make a custom order and also see if they offer discount.

Thank you so much for the help!
This is top quality!
Italian company very strong in racing.

So? Just ship one from home depot to a freight forwarder - in fact if you're thinking of Snapon, ship three and sell two locally...

I don't think home depot take overseas payment too because they block all countries out besides North America and maybe Mexico from accessing their sites. I had to use VPN just to look at their page. If I could fly to the States now it would be great but I'm stuck here until Christmas.

Still waiting for a price quote from Snapon's sales dude. I found a barely-used used one here in black around $5k (new is like $8k) so let's see how it goes.

Would prefer something made from thicker metal to hold my heavier stuff. If I read the Italian correctly, it uses plastic as base with fiber & glass for the front panels. But it looks really cool and very Italian. Worthy of a place in a nice garage.

they have different models/lines of tool boxes - as you should be able to get one for $7500 at most for a larger rolling cabinet.

Just got a quote back from the snap on sales guy for my custom order. It comes down to around $18k or so, but the real problem is...

it will take them 1 year to be able to deliver my order. ROFL 🤣

The latest epiq with left side cabinet. Yellow with black stripes.

They gave me free shipping because they have a branch near my town.

I think it was $12k for main plus $6k for the side. This is two tone price for yellow with black trim. All black is pretty much the same, I guess.
ROFL I asked if they have ready stock of similar tool cabinets to sell to me immediately because I can't wait 1 year plus, but didn't get any quick response. Hello, you have a guy here ready to spend $10k for your dumb tool cabinet.

I lost faith in this American company. Their Japanese sales guy is just as clueless. Snap on used to be a great company when all their products are made in the States. Now almost all of them are made in China. Thanks for listening to my rant. Guess I'll continue to look.
I still think your best bet is to find a USA>Japan freight forwarder - so many more choices...

Finally the sales guy got back to me with stock list. Could you guys recommend me which one that fit my garage? I have green epoxy floor with white trim color and white roof. Anything but blue cabinet, I suppose.

Only ones marked in red circle are available now for quick purchase. They don't let me show their prices from their secret stock list so I had to blurred them out. Apologies.

My garage. I plan on putting this cabinet next to that long door on its left:
