Launch control question

How bad is Launch control for the car anyway? Does it only accelerate clutch wear? Or does it stress other parts? How much clutch wear does each launch cause? This was my first launch & I cn see how it can become addicting!! Thoughts??

yes. you are right. Of course, the tires will wear fast. But I was curious about any other mechanical impacts?!!
