I think I was hoping for more. Sort of ended so suddenly and quickly I didn’t realize it was over. Does a good job of painting a picture of why some highly successful alpha males who put 100% of their life into their business and passion end up being less than perfect family people.

Ford V Ferrari was such an outstanding film, I wish the same could have been brought to this story. Sort of a miss to not have covered the development of the Countach since they showed it a few times in the show, etc.
Is Ford v. Ferrari worth watching if you like Ferrari and F1?

you will be disappointed if you think you are going to get the F v. F experience
My expectations are not that high for the Lamborghini movie. However I really really really enjoyed the House of Gucci movie, it didn't tell the exact story but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm not a purist. My expectations were high for F v. F movie based on y'all recommendation.

The Lamborghini movie has nothing on Ford v. Ferrari. Even House of Gucci is better. If you don't like/love the Lamborghini brand I doubt you'd be a fan of the movie.

Hope the Ferrari movie is better but I'm not holding my breath.

I have a renewed trust in the Ferrari movie as it's by Michael Mann.

He made Collateral which is a great movie that stars Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mark Ruffalo, Jason Statham, Javier Bardem.

He also made Heat which is another great movie that stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Natalie Portman, Danny Trejo, William Fichtner.

It will be better than the Lamborghini movie that's for sure.

Michael Mann is one of my favorite directors, my all time favorite is Heat and coincidentally I'm watching Thief right now also by him and a lot of the same scenes. The story is basically the same. He spent so much time improving the same movie until he got exactly what he wanted with Heat. He's going to do a brilliant F movie.
Nice

It ain’t t a good movie, unless bodies are buried in the desert!!!

New news regarding the Ferrari movie:
Mann finished shooting “Ferrari” last year, his first film in over seven years. I’m guessing that one gets a splashy premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September.

The $90 million “Ferrari” is still being shopped around for American distribution as we speak. Mann’s upcoming epic was originally produced by STX Entertainment, which went bankrupt while filming was taking place.

According to a recent report from Variety, “Ferrari” was picked up by Sky Cinema for a UK release later this year. So, at least there’s that. Otherwise, no US distributor has yet to bite at the prospect of acquiring Mann’s passion project.
