I have just purchased my first lamb and when I set the alarm the battery goes flat very fast can anyone tell me if the lamb alarm has an internal battery or is this just a common fault on the lamb I have fitted a new car battery but still does it also the keyfobs will not operate doors have to use key

Finally can anyone tell me where the alarm is located

My car will do 8 weeks sitting before the battery dies, definitely not normal. Is this an aftermarket alarm or something?

For the remote, put the key in the ignition, turn the car on (don't start the engine) and press and hold the unlock button and then the lock button.

When I took delivery of my `07 last week, one of the ignition keys wouldn't lock and unlock the doors. I put the key into the ignition, turned it on (not start the engine), and worked the door locks (not the key fob, the lock on the door itself). That did it.
