Never heard anyone imply that the Tecnica is a "watered down supercar", lol. Not sure I can name a more well rounded vehicle for the coin.

911 GT3 would be king for well roundedness. I actually think the impracticality adds to the character of a racing Lambo, as does the scoops, vents and grills. I don't think many use them daily or for long trips. They typically have far more suitable cars for that.

Pretty much all journalists have concluded the Technica to be a more "friendly" STO, rather than a harcore EVO RWD... which in laymans terms (perhaps vulgar) would be watered down. Each to their own. As a disclaimer I own a STO and also have a Technica on order. Would be interesting to see which one I sell first

Not to seem argumentive, but we did say most well rounded SUPERCAR.....which the 911 GT3 can hardly be called. Yes, it has super car performance, but not nearly the presence. Just can't label it a supercar when it looks identical to the $30k/$40k P cars out there.
And of course every STO own should have other vehicles for trips and such. But we all know the 95 out of 100 STOs will never see track duty....most just used for cars so coffee, ca events, going to dinner, etc. Extreme lack of rearward visibility, extreme lack of just a little storage, much harsher ride quality, lack of real panels (doors, etc, which lead to tons of road and mechanical noises), etc just make it a worse choice for 95% of the people f the way they'll ACTUALLY use it. If he's choosing a sole track weapon, yep, STO all day, for many reasons.

I personally don't have either STO or Tecnica as I passed long ago on the STO and could r traded in my '23 EVO AWD allocation for the Tecnica to get it quicker. But I personally have other fun RWD cars and want to try my first fun AWD car.
And yep! Interesting to see which you let go of first! Maybe they can both stay! Lol.
Lastly, I take very little of what journalists have to say when they're borrowing a car for a few hrs or a day or. That not lie owning and living with a car. Best and most honest opinions come from actual owners, like yourself.

Congrats!! After taking a ride for a lap at Daytona in one over the weekend I can say I’m jealous!!
Is there a Lamborghini driving experience at Daytona? I was at the race last year, and I didn't see anything like that available. I would imagine that some of the dealers have "track days" there. How did you get that ride? Might want to do that myself!

If you are part of the VIP group then you have access but I learned you need to ask, it's not automatically offered up. I plan on going again next year and hope to see the same members who went last month. Be sure to check back if you go!

Any idea when you'll find out?
Not sure. State Farm came with the initial estimate for $106k for parts only, but when I called them they said the adjustor didn't know it was all carbon fiber and that the parts are actually going to be more expensive [I guess they figured it out as soon as they actually tried to price out the parts which the adjustor probably didn't do on site]. It seems like they are leaning towards totaling it but I guess they are still running the numbers. As far as an allocation I guess it's going to be a wait and see thing. If it ends up being totaled I might just wait it out and pick up a preowned in 1-2 years, at least if I can't order a new one.

I’m guessing you put your deposit down last march, did you receive the unica app code and has your sa talked to you about your allocation recently
