LOL!!! Could you PM (or email) your current email address to me please - then I can send you some more messages to ignore :D

My mounts actually look fine, but as I have the engine out, I'm wondering if I should just replace them anyway ...

Eric - now you've really piqued my curiosity!! What are you thinking of making? Inquiring minds want to know :) BTW, has anyone found a replacement door hinge ...

Best regards to you both,

Bryan

Brian> I always working on the replacement door hinge, I just lose lot of time this year with a medical problem, expect that 2009 will be better...We can also made a wheel bearing kit. I expect work again on the rebuilt of the Jalpa so other idea will come.
Best regards.

Eric,

very glad to hear you are doing better!!! Yes, hopefully 2009 will be a big year for my car as well :)

Please let us know what you come up w/ as far as door hinges. My need is not desperate in that department. Unless I decide to paint this year - then its something I'll have to solve.

As far as the wheelbearings, I still find it surprising that we can't find a current replacement that's exact. I know several close replacements (i.e. minor hub machining needed) have been found. Think Raymond reported one. You might try searching the archives to see what you find.

Best regards,

Bryan

I havent seen a urraco door hinged for a while. if you have a problem with sagging doors check out brass insert pin kits for alfa 105 bertone. a few alfa specialist carry them for this notorious problem.

it may be a long shot but it maybe worth a try?

i bought one for my 69 gtv. its a bertone built body so it may fit an urraco also. if you give me the dimensions of the pins inserts, i can measure my set.

cheers

I have a full Urraco motor "cradle" if anyone needs it. Having it powder coated and ready for a new owner.
