Does anyone know a trick to keep the mirrors on the doors of a Jalpa from vibrating so much??? They are the OEM mirrors (which I believe are Vitaloni Baby Turbo's?) I've tried tightening them, but they just don't seem to be mounted in such a way as to be real stiff.

Also, anyway to get at the motors to grease them, so that they operate more smoothly?

Thanks,

Mike

Jalpa and Countach have the same mirrors like the F 308/328 and 512BBi
The Vitaloni Turbo, the baby turbo is a cheap variant without electro motor and looks awful.

You cannot tighten them too much, otherwise the foot will crack, you cannot get these foots any longer, so be careful...

Mike,

Try bending the mirrors at different angles. I found that at different angles they bounce more than at others. You can also take them apart i.e. remove the boot, and epoxy the joints solid. They will not bounce as much, but you have to make sure you get them at the proper angle first!
