Is there much difference between all of the ECU tunes?

I've been doing research and reading these forums looking for a consensus, but not finding one. There are ECU tunes for the Huracan offered by maybe a dozen different companies.

VF Engineering
DME Tuning
Gintani
TR3 Performance
Velocity AP
Vivid Racing
Eurocharged
Weistec
I'm sure there are more that I've missed

I know the general debates that are being made. The 580-2 gets much better gains than the 610-4. Most, if not all, of these companies don't have any dyno data to back up their product. Some companies have mysteriously lost all of their dyno data and can't reproduce it. All of the tunes range from $2000 to $3000 in price.

Is there anything to differentiate the tunes, though? Is there one that produces the best gains? I bought the VF Engineering one and now I'm curious if I should look at any other tunes or if they are all basically the same.

Well I know Vivid on the off road side are a bunch of scam artists. So don't go there.

Just curious what are you trying to gain specifically that your huracan does not offer stock?

Across the board with most vehicles, tunes are generally used when other items are upgraded as well. If you tune a stock vehicle you are putting your trust in some dude with EFIlive or some other program adjusting engine values, usually to the detriment to the vehicle if used on a stock vehicle.

This does not apply to stock vehicles which have some models detuned such as cutaway RV chassis or maybe even the 580 vs 610 (im not knowledgeable to comment). But then again they are detuned from the factory with the weight carried factored in for longevity.
Not sure if it helps, but I had a VF tune on gen2 R8 V10 plus with no issues whatsoever.

As much as they tried to state that the gain on the v10 plus was minimal compared to a base R8.... the difference was still night and day.

I fully plan on tuning the EVO RWD with them.

I have VF tunes on the Performantes and a M-enginnering tune on the SV and they all make a huge difference especially if you want the CEL to go away after exhaust upgrades on the Aventador.

Interested to know what power might be gained on a tune/e85, actual results rather than sales pitches.
I don't know what the actual performance numbers are. What I can tell you is by adding a tune the improvement had been night and day.

Yes, that's why I started this thread. I searched thoroughly through these forums and the results are inconclusive. VF Engineering seems to be the only company with a dyno sheet. All the other companies offer a horsepower/torque gain but nothing to back it up.

There are maybe 10 different companies that offer tunes for the Huracan. Are they all the same? Is one the safest? Is one the fastest? Does one produce the most horsepower? I would really like to know if there are any differences here or if all the tunes are identical.
I did Eurocharged hand held on my 580, and it did make a noticeable difference in power, but it also gave me an improved exhaust note with greatly enhanced snaps and pops.

I own a Eurocharged location and do the tune on all my lambos. I stand by tune, they work. I did my base R8 and dyno'd it after... it made 580whp (up from 500whp). Mines also an RWS tho so thats a fair comparo. But any of the 580-2 or base R8 have a significant gain in power. I just tuned a 610-4 about a month ago and that sucker was getting walked by my 700whp E63 benz prior to tune, with the tune, it is dead even...
So yes, worth the tune i would say.
Jaspirr: Eurocharged has been around for 10+ years. Currently 10 franchise locations in the US alone and quite a few dealers for the brand. We tuned a LOT of the early UGR turbo gallardos. They did Dallas Perf and Heffners turbo lambos too. To date, I believe over 65,000 tunes world wide. If that doesn't inspire confidence in the brand, I can't tell ya otherwise.

I used VF on my first Huracan LP610 before supercharging and was very happy with it. Then on my AWD Spyder Evo I wanted to to try a tune that could be done with a hand held device, was horrible and returned. So I would do VF or if you want a handheld Eurocharged

Oops forgot to mention the name of handheld, was Fabspeed, not Eurocharged

So you were not happy with the Fabspeed tune? Was the handheld MyGenius giving you issues?

Biggest problem was it messed up the pops and crackles, would take my foot off gas and where you would normally get a nice pop nothing, then after like 2 seconds you got the pop
Hmm interesting. First I’ve heard of that. Did Fabspeed attempt to redo for you or …?
They wanted to send me a new file but after the experience of first one I asked for a refund and they gave me a partial one

Hi
Im qurious about the r8 with vf.
Did you perhaps dyno it, results?
100-200 times?
Thanks in advance!
Any follow up on this?
I went with the VF Engineering tune and it has been fantastic. I can't compare it to any other tunes though. My 580-2 with this tune and exhaust will pretty convincingly beat my friend's 2023 Huracan Tecnica with 640hp.

The tune + exhaust combo unlocks an otherworldly sound from this car. Burbles, pops, an occasional really loud pop. I have zero complaints.

What year Huracan EVO do you have? Also just the tune or the exhaust too?
Edit: Oh wait is this for your 580-2?

I have a 2017 Huracan 580-2. Not an evo. Tune, exhaust, suspension, wheels, air intake.
