Help please. I'm trying to remove the indicator / dip main beam switch on my Jalpa. I've removed the steering wheel and sone trim but can it figure out how to remove the metal cowling at the top of the column with the top bearing. It looks a bit daunting. Surely I don't have to strip the whole column to just renew the switch ? Any advise gratefully received. Many thanks

I haven’t done that project restoration. Looking at the manual, this sort of shows how it goes together. The guy with the White Jalpa on Grassroots motorsport rebuilt his steering column and has some pictures if my memory serves me well.
