Going ape **** and posting a threat because another member used the word "insane" is not a "nice guy". If Rcasa20 has an issue with Huracaan take it to private messages. No one wants to hear a bunch of grown ass men raging and having a pissing contest over some typical forum banter.
@SL55
May I ask what pronouns you go by? I don’t want to offend you…

We do have a general idea of how many STO allocations certain countries received based on what members have posted and we have the total H production #'s per year which Lambo officially releases so it's not hard to estimate the % of STO's.
I guess what I’m referring to is how does it compare to (as an example) a 2006 Murci roadster? They only produced 128 units world wide.

I own 1970s muscle cars… typically if an annual production numbers is less than 2k, then it’s a low production number. Under 1k annually is rare. Under 100 it’s a unicorn.

exotics might be different, as the cost of entry is higher.

Murcielago production numbers

2001 – 65 Coupes
2002 – 442 Coupes
2003 – 424 Coupes
2004 – 304 Coupes, 80 Roadsters
2005 – 230 Coupes, 234 Roadsters
2006 – 323 Coupes, 121 Roadsters
2007 – 423 Coupes, 206 Roadsters
2008 – 454 Coupes, 183 Roadsters
2009 – 274 Coupes, 57 Roadsters
2010 – 145 Coupes, 18 Roadsters

Total Coupes – 3,084
Total Roadsters – 899

Ps
IMO
I think for a 10 year run… Murcielagos are rare, gated roadsters even more rare.
Anyone know what the production numbers are for Aventador and Huracan?

Went car shopping for my daughter this past weekend. Basic Hondas and Fords are selling over sticker.
On a serious note… I would do either of the two… both are great financial lessons…

1.) purchase an early 1970s muscle car. The value will continue to go up during her ownership. Easy to maintain. Purchase Price will be comparable to a new vehicle. Plus, it will probably be the only muscle car of that type in her vicinity. Girls like being unique. Only con is the poor gas mileage.

2.) tell your daughter that a new vehicle is $25k (an example). However you can purchase a 2 year old, low mileage, full warranty car for $17k. Then offer her $4k in cash as an incentive to buy a used car.

let her make the decision… that’s my plan, put it in action… good luck!

Best advice right there! I still have mine (my first car in 2003) that my parents bought me for $8,200. I can sell it around $35,000 today, more if I update the inside and put AC back in it.
1973 Chevy Nova 350 bored out… feels slow as hell if I drive it after the lambo lol.

Awesome! My senior year my dad got me a 76 Chevy Nova. It had rusted out muffler. Also a 350. My parents and the entire neighborhood knew what time I got in on a late night.

You're the most "bearish" member of the forum, and I feel weird for loving it. As a stock trader, it should be my nature to hate bears or what we call "shorts". lol
Shorts pay the dividend
Shorts are a vital kog in Darwinian controls
I personally don’t short equities.
The only kind of shorting I hate is naked shorting… where large hedge funds shorts a stock without securing or getting an allocation for the shares. Naked shorting can force companies into bankruptcy. It’s sad that the SEC doesn’t enforce penalties for naked shorting.

This is illegal and you can't naked short. It's actually not possible to do it as an SEC registered hedge fund with legitimate prime brokers. I take it you're probably referring to how at one point GME had shorts at over 100% of float. This was due to synthetic short inventory being created but that will always be around and there's really no way to prevent it.
I’m actually referring to the illegal shorting that big hedge funds were doing a couple decades ago.
The SEC basically ignored the activity. When a couple companies took it to court and won, the SEC immediately turned around and punished the companies that complained.

I started building something like this and was going to sell it to dealerships (The company I work at is in this type of space but for a diff industry). Then I got too busy. Someone should do it. Go hire a data entry person on Fiverr or Upwork and get a running log of the VINS and Carfax reports. A lot of people would love to have this info on the luxury auto market.

*I'd imagine Cargurus should have this back-end data. I haven't been able to find a public facing product of theirs that provides these insights though.
I would think the DMV or each state has a DB of public financial transactions… like home sales. Setup a web crawler to populate your own DBs. Might have to pay the state a nominal fee for the data pipe.

Wish I had thought of that! Maybe I’ll do one of these credit card balance transfer offers and move my loan to the credit cards too! Genius idea 😁
In the old days, my brother used to get a new credit card every month. He would keep transferring his balance from one card to the other to avoid payments and late fees.

Looks like the Blue Avio I photographed last year is now being dumped sold in Toronto. I wonder how many more cars are going to be unloaded in the next 2 months. My guess it goes up to 78. I think many of these cars are unloved, not sold necessarily due to higher interest rates or profiting from a sale but guys having no sentimental attachment for them.

Too bad I wasn't able to photograph it in the sunlight but at least I was able to get some evening shots and hearing the engine 2-3 block away of this unicorn (1/250) and I have these to remember it by...

looks at stock market over the last 6 months

Ehhhh, yeah- literally disappeared. Anyone who got rich through Covid already spent their money or watched their gains reced. That’s why more and more cars are getting cheaper, and housing has been leveling off for months.

I’m not sure I could consider Rick Ross’ baby mama a serious source of any kind of information, much less automotive production numbers... But hey, people still listen to Trump so anything is possible I suppose.

Literally any of the ones actually available…
We don’t just listen to Trump… we take orders from Him
