Huracan pricing bubble

I don’t know about anyone else, but these prices are getting out of control. Evos with 5k+ mileage asking for 350k plus?? Performantes in the high 300 low 400 range? 610s approaching 300? At some point this has to relax a little. I’m just some old guy venting that when he finally has enough to purchase the cars that the asking price keeps getting higher and higher.

Crazy!
But the true market is not seen by the highest asking prices. It’s by the lowest prices being offered because you assume those are the ones being transacted…..

I haven't received that car yet. However, I likely won't be upgrading the speakers when it does come in couple weeks....
Fair enough I felt it was worth upgrading hearing both in person at a dealer. Also I didn't want to do anything after market to the interior of the car so I chose to the option.
A lot of lower spec huracans also. Shocked how many don't even get the upgraded stereo at least. Mainly go for a few exterior upgrades they everyone sees and inside is a full on stripper spec.
Music may not be that important to some but the base stereo in the EVO is an abomination. I had the base stereo on my 2019 580-2 and it was very acceptable so, I went ahead and optioned the base system on my 2021 EVO, and boy was that a mistake.

I hear base stereo is awful but I have a couple Ferraris and I would be hard pressed to think that EVO's system could be worse. I never use it because, well, what sounds better than a V12? I got the upgraded system on the incoming EVO because my SA advised it would be best for resale. I hate to spec something off retail but things are crazy right now and I may turn the EVO in a few years for a Technica or whatever so I went for it.
You need to post more listings-
I'm not sure understand but did you mean to post all the high priced vehicles?

I'm not 100% sure but if I remember correctly the Super Trofeo car was the most expensive car last year. it's starting to look like a bargain and can't even be street driven either!

You only posted the super high priced ones. I posted a couple that were under $400K. These are the more realistically priced ones as they’re more likely to transact than those near $500K.
There's definitely an uptick in Huracan listings in Canada but prices remain elevated.

Prices will trend down "if" inventory continues to increase over the summer and into the end of the driving season.

That was my point to show the over the top ones. They keep listing car prices higher and higher, seems like a competition to the top.

Yes, but those will not sell while there are cars listed $100K less, so it’s fake pricing…..
It’s not fake pricing. The price is the price. The term you may be looking for is unmotivated seller.

I think that its fake in the sense that the car would not realistically change hands at that price.

To those that follow prices, do you guys notice Huracan prices dip closer to end of summer or in the middle of winter? I was being offered a nice 580 for $255k back in November but it sold before even hitting the market. Now the cheapest ones are $280k+ with higher mileage. Not sure if it's because its beginning of summer or because prices have gone up for all cars in the past 7 months

Winter will dip because a lot of people don’t want to buy a car they can’t drive till weather improves, or they are spending money on gifts and vacations.

Yup.
Something that no one seems to talk about are laundromat cars. Taboo or not I think high priced cars would be prime candidates. There's a bunch of them here.

Laundromat cars?

Late September-October is when prices start to drop for sports cars. A lot of people want to avoid depreciation as they age over half a year during winter storage. A lot of owners want to try out a different car and sell what they have for the next one. However I do not think it's going to make much difference this year with the insanity. Jan-Feb will be lowest in the dead of winter then sellers are going to try to sell high for those who absolutely want a car for summer and pay more.
