Huracan pricing bubble

I don’t know about anyone else, but these prices are getting out of control. Evos with 5k+ mileage asking for 350k plus?? Performantes in the high 300 low 400 range? 610s approaching 300? At some point this has to relax a little. I’m just some old guy venting that when he finally has enough to purchase the cars that the asking price keeps getting higher and higher.

But do the Republicans really want to inherit this economy going into 2024?

The left plays dirty and they probably know they're going to lose in Nov so why not blow everything up before handing over the keys in Nov.
Really, I was telling my wife prior to the election it was going to be a slam dunk but instead we got slam dunked. The Democrats have a full proof solution if a Republican is winning they just trot out a bunch of suitcases, and that's all folks.
You would’ve got buried too. My buddy lost $175k on that wager as well.

If you eat at McDonalds you're not gonna be around long enough to enjoy the cash.

I’m convinced there is group of people that are collapsing our country on purpose.
Everything this administration is touching turns to siht.
How is it under Our previous president all was well...the country seemed to be doing well.
Today i heard that the WHO will BE IN CONTROL of our pandemic issues.
I wish i can find a better country to move to i’m FED up with all this nonsense.
I dislike getting into politics but anyway; this inflation and selloff is a global phenomenon, not limited to the US. and it frankly has nothing to do with the current administration or any administration but rather a concerted effort to keep interest rates lower than it should be by the central bank....which is independent of the government. The same central bankers were in power in the previous administration and frankly, the M2 money supply grew the most at that point. Helicopter money was championed by both administrations and Trump wanted more stimulus to go out and Biden continued the trend.

Long story short - central banks didn't have the balls to slow an economy and were YET AGAIN behind the curve and were caught with their pants down because disinflation rather than inflation was happening for a solid 10 years before this mess and it led them to believe that the economy was structurally changed such that monetary stimulus no longer caused inflation. As for the election, I had no skin in the game at the time but observed the betting odds swing heavily in favour of Trump on election night - a few quick calculations showed that to be an easy bet to take the other side of and I got paid out at over 4:1. Funnily, after that arbitrage, Bloomberg ran a story on the phenomenon. I wish all opportunities were that transparent, I could actually afford an ADM lol

Yeah, I remember Biden being a 4-1 dog or so on election night as results rolled in and I did lay some of my Trump bet off but still held most of the rest and got an ass kicking!

Well, $25K losses is better than $175K.

Just think if Biden goes face down we inherit the ever disturbing cackling Kamala.

She is pretty disturbing…funnily (not that this is what makes her ineffectual) she’s half Tamil Indian, like me but it’s heartening to see how she only acknowledges the other side because that’s much more hip lmao

It has nothing to do with her ethnicity, I am Italian, and yet I feel both Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio were both idiots.

Even if the market and economic conditions are not due to this inept administration, it sure feels good to blame it on them.

I actually don’t mind her in power if she runs as the candidate for next election. My bet against her will be one of the largest I’d ever make. Only behind the silly Mayweather McGregor fight…..can’t believe people actually thought Mac could win 😂
Inept policy contributed to the economic condition we are in. We were energy independent and had we continued to be so, a lot of consumer pain would be minimized. The retail sector is missing on revs partly due to increased freight costs. Elections do have consequences and we are paying for it.

Yes indeed. Open borders, energy dependence, woke liberal agenda, war on law-enforcement to include the border patrol, weakening of our military and a weak inept foreign policy. I also believe the war in Ukraine is a consequence of the weakness Biden projected. Remember President Teddy Roosevelt's saying, speak softly and carry a big stick? Well, in the case of Joe Biden he can barely articulate and he needs a cane.
Lets not derail this topic with political talk because there's some really good advice...

Anyhow, I was looking at UK Lambo prices and I believe the the listed prices include VAT. I found a high mileage SV roadster which works out to around $520k CAD VAT included. SV coupes are around $450k. Absolutely insane.

What are prices like in Canada? How far off are they?

Prices up here are similar to US prices now. SV roadsters are close to a million dollars pre-tax, SV coupes mid 6's. Prior to COVID you could find coupes for mid 4's.

UK pricing is also looking attractive because the GBP is down but still, buying a SV roadster for $500k'ish all in is insane assuming I'm right about the prices including VAT.

Out of my league. I missed pulling the trigger on a clean 2017 S at around $350K near pandemic lows. Oh well.
The SV roadster in Calgary was an ex-Vancouver car which sat on the market for months and sold for $600k'ish prior COVID. I can't see anyone in Canada paying a million dollars for it tho.
inflation in Canada has been fueled by the largely out of control housing market there. Toronto is considered the second largest housing bubble in the world after Frankfurt….
