Meanwhile, one of my businesses couldn't get money and with ~2k employees it would have been helpful.
I wasn't eligible for a single penny while everyone was on lockdown playing videogames and ordering take out, I traveled the ghost city streets to service the population while fearing I would get arrested by the police. One place in particular greeted me with gas masks at the door!

Well, I wish you were able to get some free money so that we could see pix of your Arancio Lamborghini!!

I was given a sign last September I'd have to wait a little longer for this bubble to deflate... Actual picture from my truck. Right there on the right is where I had to bring in my current sport car to get the diff replaced. Too many coincidences!

Funny story today as I'm working for a guy who's very expensive house was designed by an architect high in the hills overlooking the surroundings, he sees my phone screen and says is that your car? I replied no it's the car I want. He went on to say his friend in Europe let him drive his orange Murci, he got in the driver's seat he was putt putting and his friend made him switch seats and showed him how to ram the gears and gun it, they switched seats again and he drove it for real he was quite amazed by the V12 so I said you don't want one? He said at 400K no way!

I didn't say anything more. Fascinating of what each individual's priorities and goals are in their life, he has a super house, yet he drives a regular car. I have a regular house and want that expensive car. :)

Back to the bubble, I'm wondering if used cars dealers up here are going to try and corner the market until people start dumping their Evo's for the new H replacement, maybe in 2024/2025? The bubble has been ongoing for 2 years now!

They're only hurting themselves by doing that... time isn't stopping while they hodl.

There is a very specific reason why Ferrari sold more cars last year than ever before, and I don't think it doesn't have anything to do with Bull availability.
They might have sold more cars but I haven't seen many around here, interesting subject, are they hard to acquire or guys prefer the H? Almost every time I went out last summer I'd see an H, they are very popular.

I went to see Doug's review about the MC20, I liked the shape of the car and found it interesting until he said it was a twin turbo V6, I suddenly lost interest and it was confirmed when I heard the exhaust. Having to fool around in the menus to get to the climate control would be annoying. Same thing happened when I saw a customer's NSX at some dealer, I liked the shape and entertained the idea to get one until I learned what the engine was.

This car has been for sale for over a year now, It started high and stayed that way for many months, finally dropped to about +-240-250K then skyrocketed like all the others. I don't have a picture from that period because it's not to my taste but it's easy to recognize. Let's see if it'll sit another year, at this point it's comical to see all these cars like that.

The real price for this Huracan lp610-4 MY2015 is around 170k$ max and not a cent more(and it doesn't look very fresh spec) .In Europe I will buy Evo for the price of 235€k
Your 235€k is $335 CAD which equals pretty much a new Evo with good specs. I wonder why Canadian car dealers are so damn greedy with high prices like we see. I would like to know why

If I add up income taxes and fees I'm around 55-60%, then we add 13-15% taxes on all goods and services depending on individual provinces. That means we are basically taxed at 70-75%.

That's not including the new 10% luxury tax on new Lambos.

If my math is correct and correct me if I'm wrong, to buy a 300k car (used car before sales taxes) means you need to earn 714K.

70-75 would assume you spend all your money on goods and are left with 0. Are there no deductions in Canada?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

What isn't taxed as goods and services are basic groceries. You buy milk not taxed, you buy chocolate milk it is considered a luxury and is taxed
Prescription drugs aren't taxed, however you buy vitamins, toothpaste, a toothbrush they are taxed
Feminine Hygiene Products aren't taxed
You hire a plumber, a car mechanic etc. his hourly rate is taxed
Telephone, internet, cable tv, gasoline all taxed
You buy stamps for an envelope it's taxed
A car that is sold 10 times in it's life time will be taxed 10 times.

It’s because you added the full 13-15% to your income tax rate and said you are effectively taxed at 70-75%. In order to add the full 13-15%, it would mean you spend 100% of income towards items that are taxed at the 13-15% range.

In reality, if all numbers are correct, your overall tax rate would probably only increase an extra 5-6% since it’s likely you don’t spend every dollar on goods/services with the 13-15% tax rate.
Ok now I understand, other than groceries then yes I feel I'm taxed on everything else. Paying taxes on gasoline over shadows all the things that aren't.

The owner uses most of the exotics as his private collection/storage he is in no hurry to sell. He had it listed for 219 or something pre pandemic.
I guess a few other dealers are the same way, they put "I don't want to sell it price". Problem is every other dealer who see these prices are following suit and everything is stagnant.

Sky high prices the new norm in Canada? Maybe but dealers are stuck with those cars right now, even the cheaper ones haven't sold. I've noticed dealers seem not to renew their listings on AT. If the rest of the Evos and Technicas start arriving this summer there will be another influx of first gen H hitting the market and I would be surprised 50,70,80 cars will meet that many people who want to over pay the extreme markups.

The only Arancio that has seen any movement in pricing since June of 2022. Might as well ask a question at the same time, it seems like a bare bones car, maybe it has the hood and sides PPF'ed? Would you guys prefer a 2015 which presumably has a better exhaust sound, possibly a glass hatch, orange seats and AWD?

is there a exhaust note difference for 2015 and 2018 cars?
I thought it was 2022 or so that they did something with the valves and revlimits.

also on this car - isn’t those rims usually shiny black and not matte?
I don't know if there is a difference in sounds. Are we allowed to link to other forums? I've read an interesting thread of the difference between 2015 and 2016 like cylinder deactivation and other upgrades.
