Yup. Was of course obvious these would come down. Just checked our texts and 6/7 I said a year till we see prices go back to normal. Might not be 100% right but I am thinking I’ll be close if markets continue how they have been.
I don’t think they go back to normal where lambos lose 40-50% of value after 4 years or so, even though Im in the bear camp. But they won’t be at sticker after 4 years either……

This cycle will change quickly. Theses changes generally aren’t gradual. Just wait till the dealers stop wholesaling to each other. At some point they’re going to get tired of it not making money on them.

Possible. One thing I do know about pricing and markets is that generally, they can go a lot higher or lower than one can imagine…..

There were 460 huracan postings across the USA yesterday and it dropped to 446 today. maybe some expired, cars sold, or cars came off the market. Maybe I’ll hire a data scraper off fiverr to get the specifics of each vehicle and compare to see which cars are dropping off and which aren’t.

What is “high?” We all probably have a different idea of what high is. However, prices have moved down across all huracans. Gallardos have maintained their pricing. I don’t watch Aventadors so can’t attest to anything about them.

If anyone is in the market for a STO do not buy this car, it was the Lambo Canada demo car which was used for car reviews and track days.

Why are H prices going down in the US and not moving at all in Canada?

The only explanation that I can think of is they also sell regular cars to offset luxury cars sitting on the lot? That and some dealers having funny money coming in.

It's because new supercars are getting hit with 10% LT so they're factoring that into used prices and when you compare the same car in the US it cost about the same CDN when you do the currency conversion.

The LT will impact the used market. For example, if you're taking delivery of a new Tecnica and the price is say $400k you'll have to pay an addtional 10% on the total x GST/PST. This cost will be passed on when the car hits the used market. The days of "cheap" supercars in Canada are behind us.

Yes. We have a 40% sales tax in Puerto Rico and the cost certainly passes down to the next buyer when buying used. A $250k evo is $350k after tax and a year old it is say $320k. This absolutely puts a strain on overall exotic sales. It will cripple the market up there and it’s only 10%. Imagine what we go through down here….
