Frankly I just think in a year or so things will have drifted back to normal.

Well, a lot of people predict that this current car market will implode in a year or so and if and when it does, the V12’s and V10’s will be out of production which will make these cars go back up in price….

A year ago we still had PPP money and rock bottom rates also the stock and crypto markets were booming. Things have changed.

And too many people are buying into this narrative that there's going to be a massive bum rush to buy V10's and V12's in a couple years. If we're heading towards a recession how many people out there are going to be dropping $200k+ on a supercar? And lets not forget that there's over 200 H's for sale at the moment in a hot market, how many cars will get listed in a slow market?

Bottomline is there no shortages of V10's or V12's for the foreseeable future.

Meh there's members on this forum that have spent 6 figure cumulative ADM's on sports cars.

I got my 580 for a steal. If dealer wants a markup on my Tecnica order I am Audi 5000 or will roll with a Maserati MC20 for sticker.

This summer when Im scuba diving WW2 wrecks off Koh Samui with giant morey eels or surfing pristine waves in Bali, I wont give 2 ****s about value. resale and ADM's.

Pay out of pocket and the answer is zero.
All depending on how extreme the damage. I hope it never happens to any of us and I am sure we have all had some close calls.

I know this is a high milage car, and in Europe - but so far lowest priced Huracan I've seen since I started to look around for it. Usually its been hard to find sub 170000EUR, and this one is offered at 135KEUR...

Is this a car you are interested in or are you simply illustrating the persistent inflated pricing?

How much over MSRP are EVOs actually being sold for currently? Is it around $30K +/-?
Always have to state whether it’s retail or wholesale. I’d guess brand new Evos wholesale $30-35K over probably and retail $30-35K on top of that? I think the Urus market is similar in terms of % over sticker. That’s why I think people saying the rise is due to the last NA V10, etc may not be accurate. Just some weird supply/demand thing and bubble.
I will say one thing about bubbles. No one knows when it’ll end but one will be able to look back and realize it was a bubble. Just look at the decimated high growth stocks in the stock market today…..no one knew when they would pop but when they did, we see it was obviously just a bubble.

Understood. I have listened to both arguments presented to date i.e., the V10/V12 NA engines being last of breed and will hold their value long term, and the contrarians, there are far too many produced for present values to hold long term. I am of the latter camp, but as you indicate, no one knows when the bubble will burst.

I understand the NA theory, but the thing is everything has gone up. From Porsches, to Ferraris to the Urus, which has no “last of breed” theory to justify its rise. The other thing is that anyone who buys into the theory has already bought, so I only see one direction it can go unless more buyers subscribe to that theory going forward to continue its rise.
