Thanks for this clear cofango underside pic, was looking for a high quality pic like this. Looks like the bottom portion is connected on instead of a whole one-piece. This is much better design if the bottom portion is removable in case you get a nasty pothole or whatever that destroys the bottom carbon splitter you don't have to replace the entire whole confango but just replace the bottom portion, should be much easier on owner's pocket.

Probably super expensive to replace.. a one piece clamshell.

So the only part causing delay is the carbon front splitter. You can order the snorkle/wing set and the rear diffuser still. But together they’re the same price as the carbon pack with the front splitter which is unavailable.

this is Thomas the owner of Corsa rally by the way. Hope to see some of you guys on one of our rallies and the toro rally next spring again in Miami.

Was invited by my dealer to see the STO in person, but had zero interest in buying one, wasn't a fan of the looks etc. Now having seen it in person, I have a 2nd viewing booked and am seriously considering trading up from my Performante. It's not as pretty as the Perf but so so mean, there's just something about it.

Spent the weekend reading this whole thread to try to decide what to do, still no closer to a conclusion.

Was told if I order now, will have a car by Spring/Summer 2022.

Production numbers and difference in price from Perf to STO are the main factors, mainly aided by the fact Performante depreciated heavily in the UK market.

Interestingly I saw this video from Lambo NPB, where the guy says 800 STO for North America alone....I'd believe it too.

Some pictures from London viewing:

STO looks much better than the Perf and I love the Perf. In my opinion, the STO looks much more aggressive and looks more special.

And I highly doubt they'll make 800 STO's just for the NA market, that'll be more than the Perf. Last I heard NPB was getting around 30 allocations, some US dealers are getting single digits or zero allocations. Canadian dealers are expected to get around anywhere from 5-15, my dealer alone got around 30 Perf allocations but only 12 STO allocations.

Btw, I spoke with my dealer today and he's expecting the MY22 STO order guide to come in. He told me the MSRP might jump by $10k CAD so heads up with anyone with a 2022 delivery.

And for my follow Canadians, luxury tax is going in effect Jan 1st so best to get an allocation this year.

I doubt 800 cars for NA, the number seems very high and the fact dealers aren't flooding their social media pages begging for deposits means the number is much lower. And even in a hot market to fill 800 allocations with committed deposits for a car that costs as much as the STO is a huge feat.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;)

I repeat what I've heard about the STO: Lamborghini will build as many as they can, everyone who wants one should get one. It will be available until 2023.

Yes beauty is subjective. I love the perf's front end design and the forged carbon looks, but the wing shape could be better designed imo and everywhere else is not much different than a "normal" huracan. The STO is special, looks special from almost every angle. Can't say one car looks better than the other, both are beautiful cars, but I would prefer the STO as it was love at first sight. Buying the perf I was excited but not nearly as excited and in love as when I saw the STO. I wouldn't call the STO a "pretty" car, but it is quite a spectacular piece to stare at.

As for numbers, there's no hard limited number but from what I heard from multiple dealers, lambo is controlling the numbers in some sort, by roll out. Yes they will try to build as many cars as demand requires, but is that realistic? No, the number of people that want the STO and put their deposits down is insane, its just not possible for everyone who wants one to most likely get one. Dealers have to satisfy demand of VIP clients and existing clients placed at the top and going down. With lambo limiting roll out allocation numbers, the number of cars within the limited time frame won't be as much as people think. It's basically limited production by time not strictly by number, remember these manufacturers don't build that many cars a year in total anyways compared to other luxury brands, the percentage of cars ending up as STO would be very small even though they say they'll try to build as much as they can.

Well Lambo sold around 2200 Huracans last year so if they build the STO for 2 years based on last year's figures and 25% of the production is STOs that works out to just over a 1000 cars. Increase the number to 35% and its around 1500 STOs. They're not exactly churning them out.

And of course anyone can order one get one but most buyers will be waiting till next summer or longer for delivery.

Anyway you want to slice it the STO production numbers will still be less than the Perf and it wasn't like the Perf was mass produced.

Fair enough, but IMHO I think the STO looks like a kit car. The Performante has nice clean lines like a supercar should have.
And if you think Im bitching because I missd out? I put down a deposit back in July 2019 and was number 1 in line in Sydney but pulled out once I saw it.

For the first time ever Lamborghini designed a car just did not do it for me. Sorry...
