There he is with the “STO” ( STO as a word)No way. Da baker is on here!? @Sto_fever u see this?![]()
Great to hear. I was talking to my dealer and he was talking about how difficult it is right now with lamborghini. They are even telling dealers when allocations are made available what colors are not available and options. Getting a car spec’d exactly how one wants there is no guarantee it will happen…most likely it wont. I am still holding firm.Yes. My allocation came up and the carbon was not available. I made them skip me and 30 days later we were able to put it in. I got very lucky
I’m in North County San Diego, how about you guys?Congrats! Whereabouts are you in SoCal? Join us for some drives

LA brother you should try to try make it up to one of the Sunset GT events sometimesI’m in North County San Diego, how about you guys?
Yes, in Trofeo mode, esp. coming off of higher RPM, I get pops. Pretty much always.wthensler Are you telling me you get pops on decel? I sometimes get 2. One of two big complaints I have with a very cool car. The other is the inane infotainted system.
It sounds best when coming off redline in Trofeo, but above 4k it’s a few cracks, nothing more. Still, sounds awesome, just wish there were more of them.Whensler How many pops will you get on a single decel. I think my limit is literally 2 and nothing like the louder half second I get anytime I decel from over 4,000 rpm. Below that I get very nice burbles almost all the time. It was the way the car was designed and has just always seemed "right". The race exhaust only made it much louder and better and brought the sound level to where It seems the car was intended. before noise considerations. Here is what Fast MD had to say about it in 2021:
"The optional Huracan Race exhaust sounds incredible. My friend has a Huracan, Performante, and an SVJ and we all believe the older Huracan with the optional race exhaust sounds better than the Performante and SVJ."
That is one hell of a compliment to come out of a comparison to very tough competition and is the biggest reason I am keeping the 610 despite having the STO. I am hoping that when my STO comes off warranty, tuners will be able to simulate the pops and burbles of my 2015 610 but I suspect the sound quality and character comes from both the ECU tuning as well as the configuration of the exhaust which is somewhat of an art and may be lost with straight through exhaust.
And where or when does it ever end. Every year now more HP and crazy fast numbers. When does it hit critical mass?It sounds best when coming off redline in Trofeo, but above 4k it’s a few cracks, nothing more. Still, sounds awesome, just wish there were more of them.
I am certain a tune will greatly improve pops and burbles. I did a tune on my 458 and also installed a Kline exhaust and it is simply incredible sounding.
I may do a tune and exhaust on the STO with the understanding it doesn’t do a lot for performance if it is just catback. I have no interest in going further (though a VF Engineering blower has crossed my mind, lol 😂).
Dunno, though. I’m running out of desire for more power and torque than what the F8 delivers. These cars are getting too fast…….
Mine is super consistent...three if I'm at cruising speed or higher...two if I'm at lower speeds (sub 50mph) and that's decel when I'm between 4-6k RPM and lift off.Whensler How many pops will you get on a single decel.
