Huracán STO

So a few weeks ago my dealer told me about the Huracán Super Trofeo Omologato possibly being unveiled in August next year which should be the most hardcore street legal Huracan yet. It should get tech from the new Evo, be extremely light and also have 5 point harness racing seats. Also it will most likely be number-limited.

Does anyone on here have more information on this?

just shy of 11.000 miles
Lol, that’s great, love it!

So, as the forum expert, what are the best features of the STO? I’ll share if you start! I won’t be biased by your response.
It will be 60 aniversarry tribute model edition, but nothing special
This is what I heard as well. Lamborghini loves charging $50,000+ for liveries lately.

I didn't ask for more info because now I'm interested in the Aventador replacement. Most of the interesting things are planned for 2024 from what I heard

Steering is probably its best attribute. It feels completely connected, especially in Trofeo mode. Not heavy, just pure road feel.

Super crisp Shifting, superb handling, the sound…….total package!

As of the last few years someone at Lamborghini studied the Luca di Montezemolo playbook. He was the King at this.

I was offered a special edition 60th anniversary STO and Sterrato today. Not sure if it's just a paint special or there's additional upgrades.

Curious what the package is, and how the livery options cover even more than 2 and 3 did for the ‘regular’ STO. I spent a fortune on paint as it is.

And? :)
Waiting for more info. I'm thinking it's just a livery special with a plaque.
For those that have done La Prima, is it worth going? I kind of want to go but being that my car is completed in late Feb the weather is not so great to go to Italy. Not sure if I should do it or pass...
I would absolutely recommend it. I did it with my best friend and we had a blast. We also were given STO's for our experience, and we drove all throughout Italy and made a stop in Monaco too. The team at the factory was so kind, spent so much time with us and answered so many questions. Quality experience!

How is it like pricewise?

From my understanding, it's $10K US if you're in the U.S., and $10K CAD if you're in Canada.

That includes:
  1. A car they provide you (there's a list you can select from, but inventory changes depending on whats available at the time you want to go)
  2. Three nights at a hotel of your choosing (from their selection of hotels)
  3. A private factory tour and admission into the museum with a private guide
  4. Transportation from the Airport to the Hotel, Hotel to the Factory, and then Factory to the Hotel/Airport after you dropped the cars back off
  5. The delivery experience in the factory (catered food and beverage).
  6. They also give you some nice swag as well!
You have to get yourself there to Italy, but that's about it! We truly drove a lot, lol. Probably more than most. I believe we clocked 2,200km (1,370mi) in the 3.5 days we had the car lol.

My fob/ignition is acting up. It won't start the car and says something about see manual. It will unlock the doors. It's been in storage for over a month or two on battery tender.

ETA - eventually starts.
Is there a good outline somewhere of all the differences on an STO vs. EVO (beyond the obvious, aero, carbon parts, brakes etc.)? Search did not help me, and I did not find anything well documented from Lambo itself. Curious specifically about the transmission differences. Shorter gearing? Something feels much more rapid.

Side note, now that I have a bit more seat time I'm happy to report that with valves forced open it sounds almost identical to the EVO when in Trofeo mode. STO mode doesn't get nearly as many pops, burbles and backfires. I also drove my EVO exclsively in Corsa, so the comparison here is sound in Trofeo vs. Corsa and it's nearly identical.

Good to hear. From what I gather there is not much point to doing aftermarket exhaust on the STO. I'm going to force valves open when I get mine as well.
