So a few weeks ago my dealer told me about the Huracán Super Trofeo Omologato possibly being unveiled in August next year which should be the most hardcore street legal Huracan yet. It should get tech from the new Evo, be extremely light and also have 5 point harness racing seats. Also it will most likely be number-limited.

Does anyone on here have more information on this?

I have avoided black cars living in Texas but these cars are mostly point "A" to point "A" mobiles so the heat/intense sun is not that relevant an issue. Esthetics is highly personal so if you like the emblem, by all means, get it. Maybe when I start to see these cars in the wild opinions may change.

Yes after having 2 blacks in a row I decided it was time to go with something different. I had almost forgot how incredibly hot it would get if that car was left in the tropical sun for any length of time. That could be a deal breaker, and the swirl marks drove me crazy.

My initial spec was white and I was planning to do matte PPF to match my matte white SVJ but I decided to go with black. In my opinion the STO will look best in black or darker colours.

If I go STO will go silver. Looks nice with the contrasting black trim. Orange calipers and contrast stitching.

It will look incredible in black. Perfect color for such a stealth looking car.

Yes since my 2006 Porsche Cayman it has been all spyders. When you live in paradise you want to see as much of it as possible, not to mention the sound of the car.

So can one assume the us spec cars will come without the roll cage? I wonder what that cage weights?

It’s just a harness bar. But, right now the US spec list has it omitted.

This is the bar, it's developed by Akrapovic. My dealer said it will not be availabe from the factory but instead as an aftermarket part.

I don't think so but Akrapovic is relasing a new exhaust the EVO and Performante. I assume it'll be available for the STO...
