The STO is the antithesis of the 488/F8 with turbos, lame-sounding exhaust, heavy, more GT/insulated driving experience compared to 458.I am stunned by the amount of attention this car has received on Fchat. It’s a complete phenomenon. I think it’s a combination of things, but two factors seem to loom largest: 1). the STO is an unapologetic final embodiment of what made ICE cars so special to so many of us...NA, noise, relative lightness, and hyper focused on driver experience, 2). the entire “race car for the road” ethos. I was perfectly happy with my Performante until the STO was revealed, and then I quickly put my money down for a forecasted Q3/Q4 delivery. Like everyone else, I am super excited. Working through my spec now.

Lots of hate towards the 488/F8 on F-chat so no surprise how much love the STO is getting. Enough hate it convinced Blu Bull aka Scott to trade in his 488 for an EVO😅

That's because all the current F cars suffer from the same issue: GPF and muted sound. And F owners who want to get new cars are pissed about it because it doesn't look like it is going to change. They are seeing a brand of emotion buried to ground. And the future looks worse than initial times of N/A vs Turbo.the majority of users on FChat like the STO and have positive feedback.
So true! My dealer is also the Ferrari dealer and he said none of his regulars are buying new cars that are now all equipped with a GPF. That thing is a deal killer. Brand loyalty only works if certain basics are satisfied. Currently Ferrari lacks emotions due to sound and overdigitalization. I'm expecting many Ferrari owners to move to L.

It's interesting they're delaying AdP. I assume it's due to lack of staff at the factory due to COVID or it could be production related due to the body panels been carbon.Just finished speccing mine two days ago. Tried to do some slight Ad Personam like changing the Wheel Color but wont let me... per dealer they night not let Ad Personam in until 2022 Models. I dont want to wait for 2022 Delivery so seems like will be June/July 2021 Delivery!
Went for the new Matte Black. Had to go with these Magnesium RIMS but i wanted those in matte black.. will prob have to have them dipped or something..It's interesting they're delaying AdP. yeh, was a bit concerned cuz thought maybe carbon wont really stand out as much since is black but screw it, little details that count! Down in Southern Cali dealer mentioned they got total of 14 slots split between 2021/2022 models . Was told total of 7 models for 2021. Guessing they will receve 3-4 summer then the balance during the winter. Def wont be many of these on the road !IGloss carbon and on matte black will look stunning. I have a July slot, it'll be the 1 of 2 STO's to arrive. STO # 3 and 4 won't arrive until end of the year so might as well be the first ones to get one. How many slots does your dealer have?
