Dammit I want one now.
STO or facepalm emoji? LolDammit I want one now.
Isnt it the same?STO or facepalm emoji? Lol
A bit silly that they put a V12 soundtrack over the beginning of this one.Another clip from the event, few slides showing the aero...
I wouldn't be too confident until you get a confirmation that HQ has accepted the build. Dealers love to BS and keep buyers thinking they're getting a slot until they tell you they have no allocation remaining. The fact Japan is confirmed to get 150 cars means allocation is going to be tight and there won't be a massive dump of allocation as some predicted. STO will not be a repeat of the Performante.im pretty sure many of us here have our deposits in if not already have an allocation
remember to share your specs XD
I have a better chance of winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning on the way home 😊. At least there’s no pressure on me.I wouldn't be too confident until you get a confirmation that HQ has accepted the build. In Canada the 3 main dealers received around an average of 4 slots, Calgary probably 2. The VVIP's spec'd the market intro cars few weeks ago so they're confirmed to get the first STOs in April. Beyond this will be a fight for a 1st year car.
No Canadian dealer has received MY22 allocation information. They're hopeful they get more slots but there is a chance to get the same amount of slots they got for MY21. I know Vancouver/Calgary combined got 6 slots, they're all taken. TO slightly higher but the slots are gone and Montreal had a few slots but they're probably all gone as well . The CDN market intro cars are pre-sold.VIP clients are getting confirmations already for the first available allocations. I know people who have and specced cars out already. I want a late delivery and ad personam stuff so we worked it out to a later delivery in 22, but I have a friend that is getting one of the firsts in mid 21. The current case is dealers both US and Canada that I know are keeping long waitlists but do have confirmed allocations for VIP clients and the very first people on the list. Will everyone who deposited get one? No of course not, the waitlists are huge, people are told as they deposited they might not get a car if the dealer is honest.
There won't be massive dumps of allocation any time for this one it would be rolled out slowly and in tiny amounts like 1-2 a time. When the perf came out there was still a fight in Canada at least western for the first cars, then it opened up after like a year and ppl can just go in and order before production ended. The STO looking at current demand won't be the same even though its confirmed Lambos gonna build as much as possible in 2 years. Won't be alot of cars but its still limited by time rather than strictly number so its more hopeful for some lucky ones.
Calgary and Vancouver are the same company and they share the slots back and forth, Vancouver with more people prob are going to take some from Calgary sooner or later. Toronto is the big one and Montreal also gets some being bigger and oldest dealers here. Most people not VIP won't be fighting for first year cars anyway since 1st year is mostly all build for VIP clients.
Some great new angles & nuances there... plus the eagerly awaited results of the revelatory panel-knock test!
Nice video showing more details, very interesting observation inside the cofango, it looks like the pieces are connected together hood, fender, and bumper/splitter instead of an entire unibody piece construction. With this design I'm wondering if they can just swap the lower bumper/splitter out if one had a bad scrape or crack down there instead of a unibody piece one would have to replace the whole thing, that would be scary to imagine about the cost. Definitely hope that even though they are bonded together as one piece, the lower part is still separable for any potential replacements.
From what I heard its just going to flow forward into 22 with the chance of 1-2 allocations showing up as we go on. Ad personam does take alot longer even people with allocations now and putting orders to factory, the earliest ones would be spring 21 for VIP clients, later in the year for clients with confirmed allocations, end of 21 and 22 for those clients doing extensive ad personam, other lucky folks should expect end of 21 and most in the 22 like with other later allocations opening up.No Canadian dealer has received MY22 allocation information.
CDN dealers are scrambling right now because demand is high but the question remains is how many buyers actually commit and if they can find 15-20 buyers in Canada to fork over $405 + options for a Huracan. From what I heard its just going to flow forward into 22 with the chance of 1-2 allocations showing up as we go on. absolutely, this would be one very expensive huracan with options not even adding in ad personam.CDN dealers are scrambling right now because demand is high but the question remains is how many buyers actually commit and if they can find 15-20 buyers in Canada to fork over $405 + options for a Huracan.
That side by side makes the perf look pedestrian. I think in person the STO will look amazing, I too can’t wait to see one. And if that’s your spec, I like it!Yes I am in two minds on the STO. I have a deposit on one but the numbers are coming up high with the options I want.
I like the look of the STO but think the Perf has a more elegant design.

One think I dislike about the STO is the fussy front bar...so much is going on there it doesn't look right? I need to see it in the flesh
