Huracán STO

So a few weeks ago my dealer told me about the Huracán Super Trofeo Omologato possibly being unveiled in August next year which should be the most hardcore street legal Huracan yet. It should get tech from the new Evo, be extremely light and also have 5 point harness racing seats. Also it will most likely be number-limited.

Does anyone on here have more information on this?

On the configurator there are two wheels shown, are one or both of them the magnesium wheels? And what is the weight of the magnesium wheels compared to the alloy option?
It is not just about weight of wheels, magnesium wheels flex less. I don't know which flex less magnesium vs carbon fiber???

I’m sure it is design and structure specific but yes, provided they don’t attempt to go to light they can have greater structural integrity.
Why does the configurator show a body colored roof, snorkel, and rear engine cover? The car in the reveal has those pieces black. Is that an option? I can’t seem to find it on the configurator.
Will the STOs hit the street in the April/May time frame? Would love to see one in the wild.
The black body panels will most likely be AdP. Also the CDN price got released, $394k before freight and tax. You're looking at $450k'ish with the carbon options and sport seats, add in paint and gold wheels and you'll be pushing close to $500k.

Btw, the gold wheels are the magnesium. wheels. The black wheel style is forged.
Are the carbon pieces standard and the choice is either gloss or matte? or painted black carbon unless you choose exposed carbon?
It would be interesting to see the prices on the options list. On the configurator, there are very few options to raise the price a lot.

These parts are in plastic, you will need to option them out in carbon or you can get the exterior carbon package:

Cofango parts
Rear diffuser
Snorkle + wing
Louvers frame + front bonnet plate + rear finn
The STO will still be a pretty rare car compared to the Pista and AMG GT Black Series. People consider the Perf mass produced but it's still a rare car when you consider cars like the Pista, Porsche GT cars and even some Mclarens.
Doubt it will be much rarer than the AMG GT BS which stickers starting at $389000.

Only 120 SLK 55 AMG BS produced

700 total CLK 63 AMG BS

350 total SL 65 AMG BS

800 total C 63 AMG BS
The AMG BS is no doubt capable, but they ruined the exhaust note on that car. I think it sounds terrible now. It won’t hold a candle to the sound and experience of the STO IMO.

Tim (Shmee150) mentioned they'll be producing over 2,000 AMG GT BS, it's open season and unlimited production.

I heard that a few SoCal dealers no longer have allocations available. Demand seems to be high.

Yeah... tried to get some specific info from dealer like actual run but seems like to final word from lambo yet how limited it is ... did get confirmation im on the vip list ... but no build or anything yet ... def dont want to wait until 2022 for it lol

I'm actually surprised at the price point for a Huracan there's so much demand. I thought people would drop off the list but it's the opposite. My dealer friend who works at a SoCal dealer said they expect maybe 6-10 slots for MY22 and they're all spoken for.

I was told I was #6 at Downer’s Grove and I got the impression I shouldn’t have a problem getting one. However, he said info was very limited from Lamborghini and they were waiting to hear more. They weren’t taking any deposits yet. I wonder how many people drop off once it comes time to put money down?
Most of the dealers I talked to said they have more deposits than allocations. Looks like the STO was well received. It won't be limited in numbers just in production years. They are going to build as many as they can squeeze out in the 2 years. My guy said he spec'd out about 7 yesterday and the average cost in the US was ~$380k
The entire carbon exterior pack was around $17k. Is anyone getting the telemetry pack? My dealer says its not worth it but I'm wondering about resale? Also there is a package which includes the roll cage and 4 point harnesses. I'm probably not going to get this one. Definitely getting the lift.
When you think about it , if you get the lift , the forged wheels, how much weight am I really saving?

i think they ruined the design on the amg bs, the first prototyped looked better, the carbon parts around the car had weird cutoff lines and black trunk didn't do it for me. Might get one used tho...

Heard on the STO that the dealer allocations are just for now, more will be released to dealers (bigger one gets priority) as production goes until 2 years are filled. There are no doubt gonna be drops looking at prices on finished specs, but the demand is there and lambo is trying to make most cars possible with this strategy, so I think most ppl who deposit now could get one. 1-2 months from now i won't be so sure.
I just revieved the options list. Let me know if anyone has any questions
Hi, is exposed carbon fiber roof and bonnet an option?
