Well it looks like I just joined you boys! Got a call last week for my allocation and went in last Friday to spec. originally they said 12-14 months but after I spec it (sort of light) they say they will push for 8-10 months as Lamborghini told them production will ramp up fast next year and the STO takes priority over the Evo.

I also have an Evo coming between June - and
August of 2022 (ordered a few months ago from a different dealer).

After 3 Performantes Im super stoked for this car. She might be the keeper if this is the V10’s swan song. I’d love a a roadster but I doubt they’ll make one!

I'm surprised Randy didn't shoot any content with the STO. Either it was a flip car and he had a deal with the dealer or he didn't like it.
my theory is that the STO / Perf/ Evo are more drivers cars. The SV/SVJ also has the v12 sound and doors. Depending what someone prefers, -! STO would not give you what an Av/SV/SVJ would and that could explain the fast sell.

Hey guys I have a question regarding the carbon interior pack.

I know the carbon twill is gone - so what is actually included in the carbon skin pack now? Which pieces specifically. Did the price for the interior pack changed since they removed the carbon skin? If not I’m just gonna spec them separately.

Also I’m assuming the Lamborghini writing on dash still has to be added if you want the Lamborghini emblem on the dash? Can someone measure that emblem size (length x width) on their STO with the

Lambo 2018 mentioned carbon bezels and louvers being $1,600. I have not seen that choice and would have missed it for my order. The configuration guidelines shows the bezel as the area behind the hood ducts, the vents in the cofangle and the fin as being part of code VK1 for shiny and VK2 for Matte? I can't imagine these being close to $1,600 Page 36 of the Configuration Guidelines provides those codes. Is there any place to get pricing by codes or otherwise? Very frustrating that this kind of information is so hard to find. My SA is pretty clueless on a lot of this.
matte carbon is standard for the following:
Louvers (aka vents in the fender area of the cofango)
Shark fin
Small part on the cofango where it says STO

to make those parts shiny carbon it’s $1600. Otherwise they come matte carbon free of charge from factory.

im tempted to do full exterior matte carbon and interior carbon exposed tub - I love the tub but not sure my OCD can live with the exposed raw section of the tunnel (center console) and some exposed nuts and bolts by the footwell.

that means adding $17,500 + $6,000 = $23,500 to my spec.

have anyone ever done after market air vents in carbon? @Russk do you have them? Any pics/ feedback?

seems silly to pay $6,000 just to have the vents and the trim above the glovebox and gauge cluster in carbon….

the only part I really care about is the air vents to be in carbon

I wonder if Lamborghini is concerned there will end up being a glut of STOs in the market and would rather divert capacity to the next Huracan variant. A number of early STO owners are already flipping out of their cars which tells me the true consumer demand (ie. those buying to keep and enjoy) may be quite a bit below factory order demand. Allocating additional cars could flood what may already be a saturated market for STOs by that future date. If true, then it would appear that a) Lambo cares about protecting their customers (and their image) and b) the next variant will be similarly popular and profitable.
I don't think this is the case. I think covid really hit them hard and they also do need to start making the H replacement due to emissions regulations, they won't be able to use this engine past 2023 and don't want to be overpromising cars. They most certainly have enough demands for them as apparently everything is sold out. Yes there are a handful of cars exchangining hands for 125-150k over sticker but that's nothing new given the current market and the consumer appetite for NA high displacement engines. GT3s are going for 300k currently.

I love the brand but what pisses me off about Lambo is they can't stop milking their models. The STO came out a year ago, they've probably delivered 1/3 of total allocated cars and in a few months they're going to announce another variant.

And who knows, maybe the next variant will have STO body parts and a HP bump. Imagine that.
there will definitely be an end of run final edition call the Huracan Technica, it’ll price higher than the Evo but lower than the STO. But won’t have the STO cofango or scoop.

Interesting. My build month is June and my only hope is that it gets pushed out to July or later to increase my chances of getting an MY2023 model.
You’re super lucky to get an allocation! I don’t think it matters the year, I’d be happy to get one regardless if 22 or 23.

good news is I’m #2 on the waiting list in SoCal - if they get an allocation I might be ok.

I was #11 at another Lambodealer (not even a chance not sure why they took my deposit but it was only 1k there).

was anyone else told that there is an order-stop for huracans because the ukrainian factory for the V10 wiring harnesses can't deliver anymore?
not sure about STO but I was told any orders without the submitted status will be stopped until they replace the source for the wiring harness and some aluminum parts.

I’m sure this is a delay and not a permanent thing.

my Evo order got submitted and was the last one at my dealership before the stop

Yes, I just got off the phone with my SA and all submitted orders will be produced. Though, he also told me they (the dealership) was told by Lamborghini that there is an "order stop" on all EVO trims........meaning no new orders, period.
Bottom line RED light on new EVO orders, STOs can still be validated (amber light).
bad news for my STO dreams but I’m confident I’ll get the final edition

Not necessarily.......those orders can still be validated. It is still very possible for you to get an allocation but I have no knowledge of how many allocations will still be floated by Lamborghini. There are people at the top rung on the information ladder and then there's most of us at the lowest rung on said ladder. :giggle:
2 people at my dealership dropped out of the waiting list and purchased other cars - so I'm currently #2 (previously #4) on the list. Prior to the ship catching on fire, my SA was confident that we would get an allocation. Now that factory is remaking those lost cars...hes not so certain. But for some reason I still feel like I will get one.
