How do I get the car back into auto shift mode, after manually shifting?

Push the "M" button by the reverse lever and 'A' will pop up next to the gear you're in on the cluster letting you know you are back in automatic mode. Note: auto not available in corsa.

It's a useful feature when I take the freeway on my morning commute. I drive manual from my garage to the freeway than switch to Auto when traffic starts and switch back to manual when exiting the freeway.

Now that university is back for in-person fall semester, I take city streets to work which is infinitely more enjoyable as I can drive in manual the whole way.
