Welcome! Are you asking about financing/affording the Lamborghini or just our entry into the world Lamborghini?
Welcome Jerry! Please be a little more specific with your question. Like Albert said, not sure what you’re asking.

Thank you for the welcome, I am very interested in what you have gone through to buy Lamborghini

Thank you Russk, can you tell me what happened to you that made you own Lamborghini!
Well, I had had three Porsches in rapid succession 2018 718 Cayman S, 2019 3RS and a 2018 2RS and I was bored to tears though, the 2RS was decent when it came to the HP and torque. I test drove a 2018 Huracan 580-2, and the power, sound, feel and beautiful design was hard to resist. So, I bought a preowned 2019 Huracan 580-2 with 1600 miles and fell further in love with the brand. After that I bought a new 2021 then 2022 EVO RWD. For me the EVO has been the best car I have owned and I can safely say Lamborghini is the real deal and a brand I will stick with hence forth.

I also came from a Porsche background, but I think you want to know how did we manage to afford such an expensive car as a Lamborghini. Success is so different for everyone, but most, not all owners have built their own business and are self employed. There are those of a younger generation that have made a fortune in Crytos such as bitcoin. All in all I think it comes down to finding something you love and are good at, then it is a matter of how bad you want it. I used to dream of owning a Lamborghini and I knew that someday I would because I had a passion/desire that was unstoppable. It took me more than half of my life, but I NEVER gave up trying. Now I am in the fun zone!

I came from Porsche as well. Went all in on hopes for a GT3 and they wouldn’t give me an allocation (would have been my 7th Porsche), so I said “screw that” and went and bought a new R8. Car instantly felt more exotic and special than anything I had had before it. That led me to a new 580-2 after that (two of them with one a Spyder) and then to a Murcielago and finally an Aventador S. For a city drivable exotic car as I have a Lotus GT for the track, I can’t think of anywhere to go above the AVS. So now I wait and see what new stuff comes out. I’m a Lamborghini fanboy through and through now. Will be at the Rolex 24 race at Daytona (with the Lamborghini CEO) at the end of this month. :)

OP, are you asking because you are on the verge of buying a Lamborghini or just doing some research?

I think he wants to know what we do or did to own a Lamborghini. It seems to be one of the most common questions I am asked when I am in my car.
Well, that is a tougher question to answer. Do work that you love or can learn to love and always do your best.

Yea, it’s cliche to say “do what you love doing.” But it’s the truth. The reason it matters is because no one becomes an expert at anything in a classroom. You become an expert on your own time. The more of your own time you put into it, the more experience you have, the more experience you have, the better decisions you will make and the “luckier” you will be. If you don’t enjoy the craft, you won’t dedicate enough time to it. Certainly not to persevere through the hardships.

that is how it is.

I have never loved what I do, but I do love the opportunities that it has made possible.

you must have dedicated yourself to getting good at it, and if you didn’t enjoy it, then something else was driving your discipline. Good for you man, that is the harder path.

Oh yes, you are 100% correct, I did it for the MONEY and what that money was able to provide for me and my family. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate anything, just didn't enjoy the stress. I managed to keep it as fun as possible.

when I was working 70+ hour weeks and pulling all nighters weekly for years, the stress got so high at times that I had to watch horror movies to calm down. That is something that still works for me today, even though risk is less at this point in many ways (far greater in a few).

the AVS is pretty good stress relief as well. :)

Crypto and Rental arbitration got me in my Lamborghini if you’re asking members what they do for income.

I’d like to add to this things that make you money might not be things you love to do but you’re really good at doing it
Help the Op understand that

I think you definitely have to have an aptitude for what you do, if you don’t do it better than most you never become successful. I guess I would have to add, if you hate what you do you will most like not succeed.
