Did a few laps solo and then spent the rest of the day giving passenger rides. Car was running really well. Just approaching 3,000 miles on the clock.

One thing i started to notice on the track was a noise that only seems to occur when third gear is loaded under engine braking. As you change down from 4th into 3rd, there is a small chirp almost like tyre squeal. Didn't get any mechanical feel of a problem but wondered if anyone had an opinion as to what it might be. It only occurred under heavy braking on the approach to a corner and only from 4th to 3rd.

I don't really fancy asking the dealer to check it out given my previous gear box / clutch related expedition ;-)

Cracking photos, and the car is gleaming! Don't recognise that track, looks like it is mainly used for bikes.

Your right the track is used as a bike circuit mainly (Mallory Park, UK). It was a friends 30th birthday and we hired it for a lads day out

Also rented an M3 CSL, Noble M12 and a Lotus Exige MII.

Booked up an paid a deposit a couple of months ago. Give them a call and see what they have to say. I'm sure there must be a couple more spaces availailable.
