Hate to ask, but has anyone fitted one of these later model units to a pre-LP? Just wondering if it's a direct connection to the stock harness or needs splicing.

I just wanna comment that this price is unreal at $500. I bought the controller alone for $420 because mine was not working properly. Note that controller for the camera has to match with the one you have on the vehicle, a different letter at the end is enough for it to not work. that was the case with me.

Anyone know if this is a plug and play for a pre-LP? Or direct me to where I can find out?

Presumably still in working order since last you saw : ) If so, I'll take it. My stock unit fold down failed and have replaced with a car navi player, but nice to have oem backup. I'm in Texas, can pay with Zelle.

Depends on the year. The early 04-05 cars require an adapter harness. 06+ that came with the screen radio, the newer gen 2 version of the radio that came in LP cars is plug and play.
