Interesting they used a pre lp instead of the updated look lp
Because it's the classic 5.0 with the best engine sound. :) All kidding aside, it's cool they brought good vibes back.

They probably used a pre-LP because they didn’t want to worry about damaging it 😂

like what they did in fast 7 with the mucielago's which were prelp made to look like LP.
So here’s the thing, the Pre-LP just looks better, though the LP is a better car. In a movie the performance doesn’t matter though.

You look at the Pre-LP rear, it’s awesome, the way the taillights are distinct blocks with vents, it’s much more interesting than just a straight grill across from one end to the other. The front also has a strong confident look where as the LP looks very fragile and “scoopy” in an attempt to get more airflow or whatever.

It’s just better. LP tries hard to look like a track car where as Pre-LP is content with just being a nice looking car.

Anyone check it out yet? Is it as bad as the last 8?

It's actually pretty good tbh. It's what you expect from any Fast and Furious movie, but I enjoyed it. Jason Momoa's character is really good as the villain. A good mix of action and comedy. There's also a McLaren Senna driven by Jason Statham which was cool to see.

I hope they blew it up. I wish I knew better when I bought my first lambo and just dove into a Dallas performance pre LP build. Never again. LP or nothing lol
Pre LP is similar to a Diablo GT front end imo. Boxy and classier looking. No points or peaks all over the place. Also, the Pre LP bumper looks so much lower and stout looking. No comparison. The LP bumper looks like its 2 feet off the ground.

I made this image to show the differences in front ends. haha

Yea for sure and I think the Pre-LP gallardo takes more inspiration from the Diablo in the rear with its distinct sections where as the LP feels more like R8.

But even then I think the R8 demolishes the LP Gallardo in the rear, that car has a really nice ass.

Typical yet entertaining F&F movie but I thought this was the end of the franchise. Not only is it not the end, they set it up for at least another X!!! I didn’t like that.

I wish all the scenes were made a bit more realistic. The cars have alien techs that defies physics. The people are aliens too with instant regeneration. It should be fast and aliens X.

The LP does not look like the R8? The R8 rear looks mundane and everyday.

They were on a budget.

it’s a blocky version of R8 V10, a black section going across and two taillights connecting. Not distinct sections with cube type lights like in Pre-LP.
One looks dated and one looks modern. Opinions are just that. Not facts.

LP does not look modern anymore, it also looks dated, its just a different style of dated.
