What's a different between regular yellow and a pearl yellow? If anyone can post pictures of the two side by side. Same with blacks. Jet blacks vs solid black. Which is better on both colors? Thanks.

Which is better depends who you ask. Color is personal. Pearl yellow outsells solid yellow, so I guess most prefer it. I've seen more metallic black than solid black too, so I guess that makes it more popular - or maybe the factory just makes more metallic ones. I've got solid yellow, but today orange is my favourite - last week it was blue!

Here is a pic with both yellows - sporting yellow calipers too. (Shame about the sorry looking grey car in the background - I tried to crop it out).

I haven't seen the blacks together - maybe someone else has?

Color

I went crazy with this decision when I ordered my car.
True story: I was around my house when this pearl yellow gallardo was parked right outside. It was a sign from God, I then proceeded to go back and forth from the dealership bugging them to put a solid yellow, pearl yellow, and black gallardo in the same room and shut me in there until I make a decision. They of course couldn't (They had them on different floors ) I then proceeded to run up and down the stairs trying to keep the images as fresh as possible in my head...after what seemed like forever I came to one conclusion...
PEARL YELLOW IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!
But who are we kidding the car is beautiful in any color

Egear

Generally do you like the egear? I was a little apprehensive at first, but now I feel pretty confident about it.

I'm very happy with the e-gear. I'd love to try a stick every now and again for the novelty of it, but I would order an e-gear again without question. I think it is one of the car's best driving features (which is saying something in a car with such brilliant performance, ride, handling and braking).

thats what i figured, and i bet now after a year in production the factory would have fixed most of the problems that I was reading about on the internet.
