yesterday i was able to drive a friend's Enzo for the first time. Awesome! truly a completely different experience than the G car. everything is instantaneous! touch the brake, it stops (the G car has a much more gradual and longer action). touch the accelerator, and it hauls ass!

i drove it around during the start of rush hour so i never got a chance to really get it going, but frankly, given it's a $1.2million car and not mine, i doubt i would have gotten the nerve to try!

you are much closer to the windshield than the G car, and the overall feel of the cockpit is very snug, almost cramped, but in a way that makes you feel nicely protected. the paddle shifter was quite smooth, though i wasn't quite used to it (shifted once while pulling back on the gas and caused an odd shifting experience). the car just gave you a lot of confidence and feedback that you don't get from the G car. the steering is lighter, and you feel much more connected to the road. after getting out of that car, i somehow felt a lot more confident driving the G car around. like i knew what the car was supposed to be able to do (i finally understand what some of the reviews mean by saying the G car feels a bit cold and disconnected from the road). still love the G car. but it certainly was almost a let down driving it home after a tour in the Enzo. :D

Don't forget, this the arugement Honda Civic drivers use against us :)
I don't need a Civic driver to remind me. My wife reminds me all the time. She always ask me why my 3 vehicles must have an average of 500 hp. She's content with her Lexus. Go figure. :)

Henrus,

I would love to have the opportunity to drive an Enzo or any super F cars (288, F40, F50 and Enzo). Did you take pictures?

What do you expect for a million dollars more than your car?
It should be a better car!

I don’t think anyone will take the performance and feel away from the Enzo but the looks have to go!

If it looked better I think it’s a must have but on principle… No way!
As far as price goes.. the more expensive.. the better

If I ever had the money to buy one I definitely would but that's a lot for a car. I think I'll stick with getting a Jalpa, modifying and fixing and restoring it and working from there as I get more hungry for the italian beauty in cars.

unfortunately, i didn't have the opp to take pictures. hopefully next time (it's my boss' boss' car).

i agree with sk90077. i'm not that crazy about the looks (i've had problems with almost all of F's designs after the 355, frankly). but as a driving experience, it is undeniably a unique and thrilling experience.
