Another Gallardo clutch HT300 by Hi Tech Exotic shipped to Australia

We wanted to thank Todd in Australia for getting our HT300 Gallardo clutch. He wanted to get a clutch that would last longer than a stock/factory clutch. Our HT300 Gallardo clutch lasts up to 300% longer than a stock clutch. He had read all the feedbacks from our customers at Lambo-talk but he wanted to talk to one our customers in Australia. I told him that we have many Australian customers and we just sold one to Faraz in Sydney, Australia. After contacting Faraz and saw how happy Faraz is with our clutch, he was ready to place an order.

He also ordered our upgraded throw out bearing TOB300 which last longer than a stock throw out bearing. Todd had everything installed. He has been very happy with the engagement and how smooth HT300 is. HT300 has our CEM(Clutch Engagement Mechanism) Version 2 which makes it very smooth. It can also handle 1,000 hp.

Here are some pictures of the installation. I'll have Todd to post more pictures here and also at this thread below.

HT300 Hi tech exotic clutch

I just wanted to thank Sean for his expertise, he was amazing through the process.
The clutch was a direct replacement for the standard clutch so installation was no problem for the mechanic.
The clutch seems to be very smooth on Engagement compared to the OEM clutch I am happy with the results so far.

My recommendation is if your going to keep your car for more than 50,000klms or if your using a turbo/ super charger due to its HP rating.

The only down side is due to the conversation rate to AUD this system is extremely expensive when coupled with the high pressure throw out bearing and freight, but looks to be a good investment if your living in the USA or using the USD.

If you are purchasing out side of the USA use transfer wise for the payment there rates are so much better than banks can offer.

Once again thank you Sean for your help through out the process, you where amazing.

We wanted to thank Dale for getting our HT300 Gallardo clutch kit. Our HT300 lasts 300% longer than a stock clutch. Our HT300 also shifts quicker than a stock clutch.

Dale wanted to get a clutch so he doesn't have to worry about clutch wear like before. After talking to a few of our customers, he decided to get the HT300.

He is done with the break in period and have put about 2,000 miles and he loves how quick the shifting is.

We also like to thank Signature Auto in Florida for installing our HT300 Kevlar clutch. They did a great job. If you need a clutch installation, they are great to deal with.

Here are some pictures that Dale sent to us of his beautiful Gallardo.

HiTech Exotic HT300

We couldn't be more happy with the ease of installation and fitment. Thank you Sean and the Hi Tech Exotic crew for making a quality part!

We regularly service Aventadors, Gallardos, Huracans, Diablos, etc. and we have done several clutches on them. This was clearly a higher quality than any OEM we've used in the past. The break-in period seems reasonable and the ultimate tell tale, is how happy the client is with it.

We look forward to helping many more clients here in South Florida get into these high grade clutches. Thanks again, sean!!

Thanks to Signature Autohaus for the install and recommending the Hitech Kevlar 300 clutch. The performance difference over the OEM clutch is significant, smooth and quick shift, very positive engagement, high rpm/shifting. A great product highly recommended

Another Countach Kevlar clutch

We wanted to thank Juan for purchasing our Countach Kevlar clutch. Juan noticed that his oem clutch engages very high and wanted a clutch that engages quicker. He just didn't like how the oem clutch would engage. He also wanted to get a clutch that would last longer since a clutch installation for a countach requires to remove the engine and it is very labor intensive. We told him that our Kevlar clutch lasts 300% longer and the clutch pedal pressure is about 30% lighter that makes the driving easier.

Juan is breaking in the clutch and has put some miles on the clutch. He can't believe how good this clutch is. The clutch engages right away by just giving a little rev. It engages at a lower point which he loves and that's what he wanted. He loves driving the car now. I will have him post his feedback.

We also wanted to thank Lamborghini Broward for installing our Countach Kevlar clutch. They were pleasantly surprised how much nicer the Countach drives now. They did a great job installing the clutch.

Here are some pictures of Juan's 1989 25th Anniversary Countach:

We wanted to thank Valentino Balboni for driving our Countach Kevlar clutch. He loved our Kevlar clutch!!! Valentino drove our customer's Countach(Juan). Juan didn't tell him that his Countach has our Kevlar clutch but as soon as Valentino drives his Countach, he asks him if this has an oem clutch. Juan tells him that he has a Hi Tech Exotic Kevlar clutch. Valentino immediately could tell the difference. He loved how quickly it engages from a dead stop and how smooth the shifting is. He also noticed that the clutch pedal pressure is lighter and easier to drive. Juan mentioned that Valentino was shifting like a Dual clutch(DCT). Valentino is truly Mr Lamborghini. He is incredible!!!

I have met Valentino a few times. He is one of the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Juan sent us a few videos. Here are some of them:

We have had many members asking us what the differences are. I wanted to show the differences between our HT350 Gallardo Kevlar clutch and a stock clutch.

If you look at the pressure plate cover/lid, you'll see that a stock clutch has dimples to shave off weight in order to balance the pressure plate. It is similar to balancing a wheel/rim of your car. You add weights to balance your rims but in this case, weights are taken off. Please look at the red marking of the stock clutch.

If you look at our HT350 pressure plate's cover/lid, there isn't any dimples because our cover/lid is made out of a billet aluminum and it comes zero balanced. No need for balancing our HT350. Our pressure plate cover/lid is lighter since it's made out of billet aluminum. A billet aluminum is also stronger. A lighter clutch also contributes to a quicker shifting. Our HT350 with different stages can handle from 1,000 hp to 2,000 hp.

As you can see in these pictures, there are no dimples on our HT350.

Now I like to show you guys the differences between the clutch discs. Both the stock clutch and our HT350 come with twin discs. A stock clutch comes with 2 plates with both having springs whereas HT350 comes with one disc plate with springs and the other disc without springs. If you look at our HT350, the top clutch disc doesn't have any springs on the plate whereas a stock clutch has springs.

A clutch plate without springs give you a quicker and more instant shifting but you can get more jerkiness and bucking if you are not knowledgeable enough how to tune out the bucking and calibrate it. Our HT350 is actually smoother than a stock clutch because we spend a lot of time in setting up and tuning the pressure plate. Our HT350 shifts almost as fast as a DCT(Dual clutch) like in Huracan.

This is not an easy calibration. Lamborghini couldn't do this but we were able to do it. There are not too many manufacturers that are capable of doing this calibration in order to make it a smoother and a quicker clutch.

As you can see, the second disc plate of our HT350 has springs.

We wanted to thank Tony at Autohaus of Boston for choosing our Kevlar clutch for their Murcielago customer. Autohaus of Boston has installed many of our Lamborghini and Ferrari Kevlar clutches. What impressed Tony more than anything else about our clutches is that how smooth it is for such an Hi Performance clutch. He doesn't have to spend more than 5 minutes adjusting the PIS on our clutches. He's usually done with the E-gear programming and reset in less than 5 minutes with our clutches. Well that's because we spend a lot of time calibrating and setting up the clutch before we release our clutches.

If you need a clutch installed for your Lamborghini or Ferrari, contact Tony at Autohaus of Boston. I forgot to mention that Tony has 30 years of experience with Lamborghini and Ferrari. He is a certified mechanic. For example, he is a certified LaFerrari mechanic. So if you have a LaFerrari, he has certification for it. :)

His customers love our Kevlar clutch because when they get a snap to see how much clutch they have left, they get surprised how long our clutches last.

Here are some pictures of the clutch installation:
