Wanted to find out what make the RWD evo only have 603 hp vs AWD evo with 630 hp. Is the car detuned or is there something they did to the motor? As far as i know they have the same motors and transmissions. Would like to hear more about this. Thanks

It's in the tuning, can easily get it back with a tune but would lose warranty

Do you have a RWD EVO? If so I would bounce the idea of a tune off the dealership/SA and see what they/he says. One dealership local to me was willing to do the tune on my EVO though I did not follow through.

My dealer never made me that offer and I am not willing to test them on it. I am going to just have to live with my 603 HP for now.

I don't think most owners can even notice the difference in hp from RWD to AWD.

I had 610 and 630, 610 felt quicker to me, then again it had a supercharger . Wasnt your 580 tuned?

Probably because the AWD version has more power lost to the drivetrain compared to the RWD.

Drive train loss plays a roll here as to why you can't tell the difference. AWD vehicles are able to transfer less power to the wheels VS rwd vehicles as there's less power loss.

I would think it would be about even. I haven't seen a roll race between the two.

Yes it was and I’m sure that helped.

My car(Evo AWS coupe 2020) against Performante Spyder is much faster(after 240km),I really can't imagine that Rwd Evo version will be at the same level...And it's not true about drive train loss,the car is only stable with better grip
