Hi all!

I need some help...One of my hobbies is to render photos in mosaic form - rebuilding the picture with hundreds of smaller pictures. Some of you may have seen advertisements using this technique. I've completed a Diablo SV and the Rinspeed Diablo and they look fantastic. I'd like to share them, and they may even make great calendar submissions, but here's the dilemma:

Each file is about 20 megs. I have created low res versions which are 2 megs each, but can't upload them (file size restriction) and I don't have a server I can store the pix on. Any volunteers? I can email the low res versions to anyone.

Thx!

Thanks JRV! Looks great! The scaling is a bit off on the rinspeed, but good enough for a preview.

The SV is done with flower pictures. I know it sounds odd for a guy, but the myriad of colours makes it work really well. I took nealy all the pix from our neighbourhood.

The Rinspeed is made of hundreds of lambo shots. I have to admit that these were harvested off the web - none of my own.

If anyone wants the 20 meg versions, they print and frame really nicely. All I need is a way to get it to ya...(zipping doesn't work on image files).

As mentioned before, would probably look good in the calendar too...

yep - that's right. I used this one:

The demo version works well, but for really good res, you need to buy it, which I did. The hard part is collecting enough suitable images...you need a minimum of 100, and they start to look really good with 500 images. I've done some really nice ones with CD covers as well.

You select the image to be "mosaiced" and then point at the directory of images to use. The SW does the rest.
