I agree, rarer older model Gallardos are starting to go up. This is of course if you dont pile miles on them.

Gated cars and special editions are set to rise, especially as they find permanent homes and there are less and less available for purchase.

Most thought the gated manuals would hold more value, but the appreciation curve on them and special editions have accelerated. With only 500 or so factory RWD models they may become a special group also that will hold and increase in value over the AWD models.

Do you think this would apply to my '08 Super G? I'm really thinking as soon as I let it go, it'll find it's way up to a new price level that tends to happen as special edition cars get harder to find. With a lot of TT'ed and/or damaged Super G's out there, maybe the 5.0 Superleggera will get it's time to appreciate and become a collector item looking ahead.

I thought it was/is quite accurate. Prices you talking about in the States seem higher than here in Europe (at least here in the Nederlands/BeNeLux).Will sell my Spider every minute for the price I see passing by here on occasion.

Maybe accurate for the standard models. Not so sure for the special editions.
