Has anyone actually monitored the depreciation curves on these cars, specifically, let's say ones that are older than 5 years (where by then, the bulk of the depreciation should have occurred)? Either as a flat figure or as a %.
I'm curious because had I purchased my other car NEW in 2010, it would have depreciated 85k in 7 years (ouch!). As it is, it depreciated about 25k in 4 years.
Do you think an 08, with average or below average miles (so let's not factor in mileage) would depreciate 25k in the next 3-4 years?
