ItalianCarFest Weekend - SEPTEMBER 9 - 12, 2005 in Grapevine, TX -near Dallas

FRIDAY- ICF Reception hosted by Texas Driver Magazine at "Mission Plaza" inside the atrium of the Gaylord Texan Resort.

SATURDAY- The centerpiece of the weekend, ItalianCarFest, the show at Cross Timbers Winery features the absolute best of Italian cars, cycles and scooters displayed on manicured lawn. In addition, the property includes a Texas-size two-story air-conditioned facility with the second floor containing a private lounge area where complimentary wine, soft drinks and snacks will be served to show entrants. And the second story deck provides a fantastic photo-op of the north end of the display field.

'ICF Saturday Evening at Gaylord' in the Yellow Rose Ballroom. Mixer (Cash Bar) and Silent Charity Auction. Dinner with Live Band afterward.

SUNDAY Scenic Drive followed by Speedway Brunch in an exclusive 6th floor condo overlooking the action on Texas Motor Speedway.

Boardwalk Ferrari/Maserati Track Day at Texas Motor Speedway. All day access to the clubhouse, covered area near the track, and lunch included.

MONDAY Texas Ducati Track Day at MotorSport Ranch- Cycles only.

New this year: In addition to regular entry, ICF offers the 'Reserved Weekend Package'. For one fee an entry gets
  • Entry for one car under a tent on the show field at Cross Timbers Winery to keep you and your car in the shade.
  • Under the tent four bottles of Pellegrino on ice and ready for you.
  • Access for two to the ICF Reception at Gaylord on Friday
  • Two tickets to the ICF dinner, part of 'ICF Saturday Evening at Gaylord'.
  • Space for a car in the Scenic Drive and Speedway Brunch for Two on Sunday.
  • Two ItalianCarFest Cotton Ts
Advance registration only.

Expected in 2005 are 135 cars + two-wheelers from 15 states and a show-day crowd of 12,000.

Organized by: Fiat Club of North Texas/Italian Car Club of the Southwest.

For spectators: This show is free to the public.

For those wishing to fly in for the show, the venue is only a 15 minute ride from DFW Airport.

Yes, there will be wonderful trophies....

Yes, last year we awarded over $3800 in trophies. Each year as we build the show, the value of awards will increase.


Winners of Best of Class & Best of Show are determined by a vote of entrants. Awards will be presented at the end of the show on Saturday afternoon.

Also to further honor winning entrants, the awards for 1st place Best of Class and the Best of Show will be presented in a terrific "drive up" fashion.

BTW, due to extensive planning and preparation the Awards Ceremony last year was only 31 minutes long. It is one more example of how we, as organizers, demonstrate respect for entrants' time and attention.
